This instruction and license imply that you are installing ANSYS on C: drive.

If you're using different drive for installations, be sure to change license path
in ansyslmd.ini

1. If you don't have ANSYS License Service from previous ANSYS installations, go to

2. Uninstall or disable ANSYS License Server.

To uninstall ANSYS License Server:
2.a. In CMD mode, go to c:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\
and run ansysli_server.exe -k uninstall
Restart your computer.
Remove ANSYS, Inc. License Manager folder from the Start Menu.
To stop ANSYS License Server:
2.b. Run services.msc, find ANSYS License Server, RMB > properties > Startup
type = disabled. Restart your computer.

3. Install ANSYS products as usual. Don't install ANSYS License Manager.

4. Copy license.dat and ansyslmd.ini from "crack" folder to c:\Program Files\ANSYS
Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\
