Machine Learning Engineer

fast, easy and joyful. We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our 
growing Big Data & AI team. At MoMo, we are making Machine Learning the core component to 
almost every part of the product ­ product recommendation, personalization, risk scoring, fraud 
detection and promotion targeting. As a Machine Learning expert, you will have a unique 
opportunity to have a high impact by building these systems, as well as uncovering new 
opportunities to apply Machine Learning to impact millions of users. You will also play a key role 
in developing tools and services that our other developers would rely on. 

Responsibilities 
­ Working with Data Scientists to build Machine Learning systems using your core 
expertise. 
­ Designing, implementing the platform that provides accurate, consistent data for training 
machine learning models. 
­ Building pipelines and high­performing systems for applying Machine Learning models in 
real­time applications. 
­ Providing a platform that is super easy for Data Scientist to explore new features, build 
models and conduct A/B tests. 
­ Building framework for monitoring Machine Learning systems. 

What we are looking for 
­ 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering. 
­ Strong engineering skills. Experience in building high­performing systems. 
­ Basic understanding of Machine Learning models and their applications.

Data Scientist

Data & AI team for new financial service products. At MoMo, we make Machine Learning the 
core component to almost every part of the product ­ product recommendation, personalization, 
risk scoring, fraud detection, promotion targeting and financial services. As a Machine Learning 
expert, you will have a unique opportunity to help building a new product of MoMo, as well as 
uncovering new opportunities that impact millions of users. 

Responsibilities 
­ Building Machine Learning models using your core expertise. 
­ Collaborate with Product and Business to define the Machine Learning product 
­ Collecting, cleaning, preparing data at large scale for modeling. 
­ Adding new features, exploring new approaches to keep pushing the model 
performance. 
­ Participating in productionizing Machine Learning models for live production. 
­ Designing, conducting A/B tests and analyzing the results for experiment insights. 
­ Building pipelines for continuously validating and updating models. 
­ Coaching and providing support for other junior members. 

What we are looking for 
­ Good understanding of mathematical foundations of Machine Learning algorithms. 
­ Have practical experience in applying Machine Learning in personalization, credit 
scoring or user behavior analysis.
