2. Airlines Ranking
● The Chief Executive Officer is on the top of the organization.
● The Chief Operating Officer is the second highest position.
● Human Resources is the third highest person.
● Operations Manager is the fourth highest ranking.
● Development Manager is the fifth highest position.
● Cargo Manager is the sixth highest ranking.
● Training Director is the seventh highesting position.
● Event Manager is the eighth highest ranking.
2.1. Staff Definitions
● The CEO is the head of the operations and takes all the final decisions.
● The COO is always second in command and has a big say in decision making.
● Human Resources helps you with just about anything, it’s the person you want to talk to because
he/she has all the information needed.
● Operations Manager takes care of all the routes, aircraft, ect. The Operations will help you with
just about everything which require flights and planning.
● The Development Manager creates liveries, logos, advertisements, ect.
● The Cargo Manager takes care of all the cargo operations here at Icelandair Virtual and runs their
own server.
● The Training Director takes care of all checkrides and training that the pilot needs.
● The Event Manager runs all the social media account here at Icelandair Virtual. They will post
about all the events such as sales, or things that are happening with Icelandair Virtual.

3. Pilot Responsibilities
● The Pilot is always responsible for the aircraft and the actions he/she chooses.

● Talk to ATC clear, listen carefully, and talk very clearly.
● Be Polite when speaking to ATC.

● We give our pilots special training and procedures they need to know.
4.1. Checkrides
● Check Rides are given at least 2 times a year. We try to do them every 6 months.

● Know general information about the route.

5. Flying
● Your flying skills are required to be smooth and precise. Do not violate the 250 kias rule
under 10,000ft msl. If you would like to learn more, please visit f aa.gov for more
information about the regulations.
5.1. Pre-Start Up
● Please check if you have the Proper Documents. Please use S imBrief for your
flight plannings.
● Double check you have the Fuel Balance/amounts. If you are uncertain of
checking/knowing your fuel please visit f uelplanner to get the correct fuel
usage.
● Please use the correct charts. You can use either S kyvector or F lightAware.

5.2. Pre-Pushback
● Double check all your documents, flight plans, fmc/fms, and brief the passengers with
the Icelandair Safety video for the Boeing 757. Icelandair Safety video

● Double check lights, smoking and seat belt signs on.

5.4. Departure
● Do not climb 3000+fmp.
● Make smooth adjustments.
● Autopilot may come on after passing 1000ft msl.

● Once at cruising altitude, turn of seatbelt signs until decent phase.
● Make sure everything is okay during the flight.
