Reading 1:
2 Corinthians 5:17-19
(God is making all people his friends).

A reading from the second letter of St Paul to the Corinthians

When anyone is joined to Christ, he is a new being; the old is gone,

the new has come. All is done by God, who through Christ changed us
from enemies into his friends and gave us the task of making others
his friends also. Our message is that God was making all mankind his
friends through Christ. God did not keep an account of their sins, and
he has given us the message which tells how he makes them his
friends.

The word of the Lord.

Offertory Hymn:
Come to the table by Andrew Chinn

Come to the table, come to the feast!

Come to the table of the Lord!
Bringing gifts of bread and wine, come with open hearts
Come to the table of the Lord
This bread that we bring, and offer now to You
It will become your Body, it will our hearts renew
We offer this gift of bread with true and humble hearts
With all that we bring, all that we are!
This wine that we bring, and offer now to You
It will become your Blood, it will our hearts renew
We offer this gift of wine with true and humble hearts
With all that we bring, all that we are!
Our lives that we bring, and offer now to You
May you live within our hearts, may we rest in You
We offer this gift of our lives with all our hearts
With all that we bring, all that we are!

Communion Hymn:
Lamb of God
by the Marantha singers.

Your only Son

No Sin to Hide
But You have sent Him from Your side
To walk upon this guilty sod
And to become the Lamb of God
Your gift of love
They crucified
They laughed and scorned Him as He died
The Humble King they named a fraud
And sacrified the Lamb of God
Oh Lamb of God
Sweet Lamb of God
I love the Holy Lamb of God
O wash me in His prescious Blood
My Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God
I was so lost
I should have died
But you had brought me to Your side
to be led by Your staff and rod
and to be called a lamb of God
Oh Lamb of God
Sweet Lamb of God
I love the Holy Lamb of God
O wash me in His prescious Blood
Till I am just a lamb of God
Oh wash me in His precious Blood
My Jesus Christ
The Lamb of God

Recessional Hymn:
Ashes by Tom Conry

We rise again from ashes, from the good we’ve failed to do.
We rise again from ashes, to create ourselves anew.
If all our world is ashes, then must our lives be true?
An offering of ashes, an offering to You.

Then rise again from ashes, let healing come to pain.

Though spring has turned to winter, and sunshine turned to rain.
The rain we’ll use for growing, and create the world anew,
From an offering of ashes, an offering to You.
