Vintage Pink mandala - US English instructions

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner

MATERIAL / COLORS: Lace cotton thread Anchor Freccia nº 6 (Coats): beige, pink
and light brown

HOOK: 1.5 mm

MEASURE: 10,5 cm diameter aprox. / 4” diameter aprox.

Note: If you work with another crochet hook or a different thickness thread,
measures could not coincide.

INSTRUCTIONS:
N Begin with an adjustable ring in beige color.

Round 1: Ch 3 (counted as first dc in this rnd); make 11 dc in the ring and join to the fist dc
(the third ch you made at the beginning of this rnd) with 1 sl.st. to close the rnd. (Total: 12 dc
in this rnd). Fasten off.

Change to pink color.

Round 2: Insert the hook in the first st of the prev rnd, take a loop, ch 1 and make 2 sc in
this same st; make 2 sc in every st until the end of this rnd; join to the first st with 1 sl.st. to
close the rnd. (Total: 24 sc in this rnd). Fasten off.

Chanke to beige color.

Round 3: Insert the hook in the first st of the prev rnd and ch 3 (counted as first dc in the
first st of this rnd); *ch 1 and make 1 dc in the next st*; rep ** until the end of this rnd; ch1
and join to the first st of this rnd with 1 sl.st. (Total: 24 dc in this rnd). Fasten off.

Change to light brown color.

Round 4: Taking a loop under any ch of prev rnd, ch 1 nd make 2 sc; *skip the next st and
make 2 sc in the next ch of prev rnd*; rep ** until the end of this rnd; join to the first st of the
rnd with 1 sl.st. (Total: 48 sc in this rnd). Fasten off.

Change to beige color.

Round 5: Inserting the hook in the first st of the prev rnd, take a loop and ch 3 ((counted as
first dc in the first st of this rnd), make 1 dc in each of the next 3 sts; *ch 2 and make 1 dc in
each of the next 4 sts*; rep ** until the end of the rnd; ch2 and join to the first st of the rnd
with 1 sl.st.

Round 6: Ch 3 (counted as the first dc of the first 4-dc-tog in this rnd), make 1 dc in each of
the next 3 sts and close all them together for compleating the first 4-dc-tog; *ch 8, skip the 2
chs of prev rnd and make 1 4-dc-tog in the next 4 sts*; rep ** until the end of the rnd; ch 8
and join to the first 4-dc-tog with 1 sl.st to close the rnd. (Total: 12 4-dc-tog in this rnd).
Fasten off.

Change to pink color.

Round 7: Inserting the hook in the first 4-dc-tog st of the prev rnd, take a loop, ch 1 and
make 1 sc in this same st; in the next arch of chs of prev rnd, make: 1 hdc + 5 dc + 1 hdc;
*make 1 sc in the next st; make in the next arch of chs of prev rnd: 1 hdc + 5 dc + 1 hdc*;
rep ** until the end of the rnd; join to the first st of the rnd with 1 sl.st. (Total: 14 pink petals in
this rnd). Fasten off.

Change to beige color.

Round 8: Inserting the hook in one of the 4-dc-tog (2 rnd down), take a loop and make 3
chains (counted as first dc in this rnd); ch 4, skip the next 3 sts and make 1 sc in the next st;
ch 4, skip the next 3 sts and make 1 dc in the next st, but inserting the hook 2 rnd down (on
the top of the 4-dc-tog st). *Ch 4, skip the next 3 sts and make 1 sc in the next st; ch 4, skip
the next 3 sts and make 1 dc in the next st, but inserting the hook 2 rnd down (on the top of
the 4-dc-tog st)*; rep ** 9 times more. Ch 4, skip the next 3 sts and make 1 sc in the next st;
ch 4, skip the next 3 sts and join to the first dc of this rnd with 1 sl.st. Fasten off.

Change to light brown color.

Round 9: Inserting the hook in any dc of the prev rnd, take a loop, ch 1 and make 1 sc;
make 4 sc in the next 4 chs of prev rnd. In the next st of prev rnd, make: 1 sc + 3 picots.
Make 4 sc in the next 4 chs of prev rnd. *Make 1 sc in the next st; make 4 sc in the next 4
chs of the prev rnd; in the next st, make: 1 sc + 3 picots; make 4 sc in the next 4 chs of prev
rnd*; rep ** a total of 11 times. Join to the first st of the rnd with 1 sl.st.

NIVEL DE DIFICULTAD: Principiante

MATERIAL / COLORES: Hilo de algodón Anchor Freccia nº 6: beige, rosa y tabaco.

AGUJA: 1.5 mm

MEDIDA: 10,5 cm diámetro aprox. / 4” diametro aprox.

Nota: Si trabajas con otra aguja o hilo de diferente grosor, las medidas pueden
no coincidir.

INSTRUCCIONES:
B Empezar haciendo un anillo ajustable con hilo color beige

Vuelta 1: Hacer 3 cad (cuentan como el primer pa de esta vta); hacer 11 pa en el anillo y
unir al primer pa (la 3º cad que has hecho al principio de esta vta) con 1 pe, para cerrar la
vta. (Total: 12 pa en esta vta). Cortar el hilo.

Cambiar a hilo color rosa.

Vuelta 2: Insertar la aguja en el primer pto de la vta prev, coger hebra, hacer 1 cad y 2 pb
en ese mismo pto; hacer 2 pb en cada pto hasta el final de la vta; unir al primer pto de la vta
con 1 pe. (Total: 24 pa en esta vta). Cortar el hilo.

Cambiar a hilo color beige.

Vuelta 3: Insertar la aguja en el primer pto de la vta prev y hacer 3 cad (cuentan como el
primer pa de esta vta); *hacer 1 cad y hacer 1 pa en el siguiente pto*; rep ** hasta el final de
la vta; hacer 1 cad y unir al primer pto del a vta con 1 pe. (Total: 24 pa en esta vta). Cortar el
hilo.

Cambiar a hilo color tabaco.

Vuelta 4: Tomando la hebra por debajo de cualquier cad de la vta prev; hacer 1 cad + 2
pb; *saltar el siguiente pto y hacer 2 pb en la siguiente cad de la vta prev*; rep ** hasta el final
de vta; unir al primer pto de la vta con 1 pe. (Total: 48 pb en esta vta). Cortar el hilo.

Cambiar a hilo color beige.

Vuelta 5: Insertando la aguja en el primer pto de la vta prev, coger hebra y hacer 3 cad
(cuentan como el primer pa de esta vta), hacer 1 pa cada uno de los siguientes 3 ptos;
*hacer 2 cad y hacer 1 pa en cada uno de los siguientes 4 ptos*; rep ** hasta el final de la
vta; hacer 2 cad y unir al primer pto de la vta con 1 pe.

Vuelta 6: Haer 3 cad (cuentan como el primer pa del primer 4-pa-tog de esta vta), hacer 1
pa en cada uno de los siguientes 3 ptos y cerrarlos todos juntos para completar el primer 4-
pa-tog; *hacer 8 cad, saltar las siguientes 2 cad de la vta prev y hacer 1 4-pa-tog en los
siguientes 4 ptos de la vta prev*; rep ** hasta el final de la vta; hacer 8 cad y unir al primer 4-
pa-tog de la vta con 1 pe. (Total: 12 puntos 4-pa-tog en esta vta). Cortar el hilo.

Cambiar a hilo color rosa.

Vuelta 7: Insertar la aguja en el primer 4-pa-tog de la vta prev, coger hebra y hacer 1 cad + 1
pb en ese mismo pto; en el siguiente arco de cads de la vta prev, hacer: 1 pma + 5 pa + 1
pma; *hacer 1 pb en el siguiente pto; en el siguiente arco de cad de la vta prev, hacer: 1 pma
+ 5 pa + 1 pma*; rep ** hasta el final de la vta; unir al primer pto de la vta con 1 pe. (Total: 14
pétalos en esta vta). Cortar el hilo.

Cambiar a color beige.

Vuelta 8: Insertar la aguja en uno de lo 4-pa-tog (2 vtas más abajo), coger hebra y hacer 3
cad (cuentan como el primer pa de esta vta); hacer 4 cad, saltar los siguientes 3 ptos y hacer
1 pb en el siguiente pto; hacer 4 cad, saltar los siguientes 3 ptos y hacer 1 pa en el siguiente
pto, pero insertando la aguja 2 vtas más abajo (sobre el siguiente 4-pa-tog). *Hacer 4 cad,
saltar los siguientes 3 ptos y hacer 1 pb en el siguiente pto; hacer 4 cad, saltar los siguientes
3 ptos y hacer 1 pa en el siguiente pto, pero insertando la aguja 2 vtas más abajo (sobre el
siguiente 4-pa-tog)*; rep ** 9 veces más. Hacer 4 cad, saltar los siguientes 3 ptos y hacer 1
pb en el siguiente pto; hacer 4 cad, saltar los siguientes 3 ptos y unir al primer pto del vta
con 1 pe. Cortar el hilo.

Cambiar a hilo color tabaco.

hacer 4 pb en las siguientes 4 cads de la vta prev; en el siguiente pto, hacer: 1 pb + 3 picots;
hacer 4 pb en las siguientes 4 cads de la vta prev*; rep ** un total de 11 veces. Unir al primer
pto de la v ta con 1 pe.
