COURSE DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS:

This course provides essential knowledge and understanding on circuit theory which covers the
basic electrical and electronic engineering concepts as well as the operation and application of
diodes and transistors circuits in engineering. It also covers the principles in digital logic circuits and
microcontroller systems and their applications.

Explain the fundamental concepts and operational principles of circuit theory, digital

logic and microprocessor {PO1, LO1, SS1, C2}.
Analyze electronics and digital logic circuit for mechatronics system design {PO2, LO3,
CO2 SS1, C4}.
Evaluate assembly High language programming based on microprocessor application
CO3 (microcontroller) {PO3, LO3, SS1, C5}.
Develop an automation system in engineering application using microprocessor
CO4 application (microcontroller) {PO3, LO3, SS1, C6}.
