Chapter 3

METHODOLOGY

On this chapter, all the methods that will be used in the development of the system

will be discussed. It includes the project design that discuss the capabilities of the system,

the use case diagram that shows how the system will work, and the database design that

describes the system’s data. It also includes the grant chart for the display of schedule of

project.

Project Design
The system has the capabilities that will provide the needs of the customers of

Angelito’s Pizza and Restaurant. The system is capable of storing data of the customers

through its database. The system also capable of assessing customer’s payment through

online billing system. The system can also promote the Angelito’s Pizza and Restaurant’s

promos and new foods from the menu. The system allows the customers to avail a

reservation slot for the function room of Angelito’s Pizza and Restaurant through the

reservation module. The system also capable of displaying the foods and price on the

menu to give more information to the customers. The system can allow the owner of

Angelito’s Pizza and Restaurant to improve their services and menu through the feedback

and suggestions. Furthermore, the system provides information of Angelito’s Pizza and

Restaurant and their services and best sellers.

Context Diagram
According to Bawiki.com (2013), Context Diagram is a common tool that

Business Analysts use to understand the context of an entity being examined. Most

descriptions of a Context Diagram limit this entity to a system that is being created or

modified as part of a project, but the Context Diagram can also be applied to other

entities.

 The context diagram on the previous page has 5 entities that has a in and out

data. The customer will registered to login information to the system, then use inquiries

and the customer can also be able to view the service bill. Then, the customer can also

be able to view the reservation details. The customer will input the cancellation details

to the system, then the admin can be able to view the cancellation details. Then the

customer will input the customer payment. The admin will input the reservation

confirmation, list of available date and time and invoice to the system, then the

customer can be able to view the reservation confirmation, list of available date and

time and invoice.
