Greetings!

Our School - Sarah Jane Ferrer High School initiated a program entitled “BISIKLETA MO,
KINABUKASAN KO!, a bicycle education program that aims to lessen the students at risk of dropping out
(SARDO), improve their performance in school both academic and extracurricular activities and help them
achieve their goals despite of the distance they have to walk every day in going to school. In addition to
these, it also aims to increase the participation and involvement of parents in every school activities.

With these, the BIKES for the PHILIPPINES heed our call, and will help and support us and be our
partner to achieve the aforementioned program through donating bicycles with accessories. Mr. Joel F.
Uichico, the President of the said organization together with his two members went to the school last
October 8-12, 2018, conducted seminar and workshop about bike safety and maintenance.

With your keen interest of helping our school in achieving our student’s goals and development,
may we invite you to be part of our program, “BISIKLETA MO, KINABUKASAN KO!”, by helping and
supporting us through financial assistance or any kind of help to be used in the Maintenance and
Repair of the bicycles in the future use.

In connection with this, the Department of Education in collaboration with the Bureau of Internal Revenue
(BIR) works together in order to grant incentives to the private partners of DepEd. The incentives are
provided through the tax deduction (Gross Income) of the private companies, industries and private
individuals who imparted their financial and or in-kind services to the public schoolsThis provide
opportunities for donor partners to apply for the availment of tax incentives or tax exemption arising from
the partners’ expenses incurred in the program since such entitlement is permitted under Republic Act No.
8525 otherwise known as the Adopt-a-School Act of 1998 and of Revenue Regulations No. 10-2003.

We do believe that with you behind us our quest for better academic institution will propel greater
heights of recognition.
