1. Introduction:
Transport facility is a matter of headache for those people who do not have any
personal transport in Lahore city. On occasions like Wedding, Vacation, house
shifting, and tour outside Lahore and on many other situations they feel the
necessity of a vehicle to sort out the problems.
So if it is possible to design or develop a web based application for availing transport whenever
and wherever possible, then it will be beneficial for both renter and transport provider.

Now days, by some click only, we can get whatever you want at home. We already know about
the online shopping, e-banking etc. Similarly, The Car Rental System is the online facility to book
cars online within few clicks only.

Some people cannot afford to have a car, for those people this system becomes very helpful.
This system includes various cars, as per the customer order and comfort; it places the order
and delivers the car as per the location within the area. For travelling a long distance, booking
can be done via Internet service only.

1.1 Document Purpose:

The advancement in Information Technology and Internet penetration has greatly enhanced
various business processes and communication between companies (services provider) and
their customers of which car rental industry is not left out. This Car Rental System is developed
to provide the following services:

To be able to use Internet technology to project the rental company to the global world instead
of limiting their services to their local domain alone, thus increase their return on investment
(ROI).

Problem:
In traditional system there were some errors because of humane mistake and
everything was on manual bases, we planned and tried to convert it on digital system
base. In this version we have converted all the system on latest Information
Technology.

Goal:
New system will fulfill all the latest needs of customers; it will save the time and
money of customers.

Objectives:
In order to attain the general objective, the following list of specific objectives is set:

1. To develop an online registration system,

2. Maintaining the Vehicle health Details.

3. Maintaining records of all customers for a car.

4. To facilitate customers in terms of time saving,

5. Generate Monthly and Annual Reports

6. To increase data accuracy, make reports behind vehicle registration system.

Success Criteria:

The success criteria depend on the following factors.

 Few staff required managing this Software.

 Due to this software work done very quickly and accurately
 Complete project in line with the timetable.
 Hold a Team members meeting once a week

Assumption, Risks, Obstacles:

 An electricity loss can disturb everything.
 It is assumed that the team member has a lot of knowledge and mastery about
the project.
 It is assumed that the team member has a lot of tools about the project.
 In case of Strike, flood.
