pati ḍanghyang Droṇa, nguniweh patine (1. nya) kakingku bhagawân Bhîṣma, menak pwa pinûjâ dening winehnya larâmbĕk, suka
pwa kinabhaktyan de nikang (h)uwus manēmu lara denyu ? Āḍah buddhi rasika sang Dhṛtarâṣtra, tan alēngēn mahābhâra ginawe (1.

„Andhan (1. s)ya m (1. n)ṛpate(ḥ) putrâ[ḥ] mah (1. y)â parighabâhunâ[ḥ]. Bapa sang Dhṛtaraṣtra, kita ya ta sang wuta tke[ng]
(h)atinta, tinghali bâ– hungku tan hana pahinya lawan mṛtyuparinggitaḥ (1. parigha), ya ya ta akinkin humilingakēn wkanta.

„Anak ni nghulun sang Wṛkod[h]ara, mengēt i nghulun lak...................... ya nyanak ni nghulun sang Duryodhana, menge
ēt i nghulun ri pitutur sang Widura, ikang sad[dh]âkâla makon atûta, wruh ta nghulun ri[ng] yukti bhagawân Bhîṣma, tu (1.
du)monenak nikang bhûmi wehakna ring sang Pâṇḍawa, (w)uwus ta nghulun sang Duryodhana, ndatan hana juga pang(h)iḍēp sarikâ,
ya hetu ning malampu tan wruh ring de (1. a)ya, makanimita sih ning mânak[a], nihan ta[ng] phalanya mangke, pati nikang
kṣatriyagaṇa, mwang (h)ilang [ing] sang Kurukulasantâna, (w)yakti ikang hṛd[dh]ayaçag (1. l)ya kabhukti pinakakasusuk ni[ng] (h)ati ni
nghulun mangke, ya tan (h)ana tam– banya waneh lena y (1. S)ak[w]e[h] kapatyan i nghulun‚ matan(g)nyan magawe nghulun
çarîraçosaṇa, a,5. (h)umilangakna çarîra ni nghulun.
„Caturww (1. tth)e pingg (1. niy)ate kâle. (H)anan lima wngi nghulun manghilang (1. mangana), mogha mahârâja Yudhiṣṭhira an
lumabuh ri nghulun, yata[n] he[s]tu ni tan tulus amilâsa ri[ng] (çarî)ra ni nghulun juga, i lumampah rahadyan sanghulun wanawâsa.’'
„ Yapwan kewalya rahadyan sanghulun tar kawnang Sinayutan , p ṛ Ṣ t ha[li]t aḥ (1. tas) t w â 'nu(y â)– Syâmi, anghing tumatha (1.
tumuta) juga nghulun tuminggalakna ikang rā[ha]jya, (h)ingana pinake (1. ka)nghulun wnang Sûkṣma sake rahadyan sanghulun.’'
Tan hawan mantra wehakna mahârâja Dhṛtarâṣṭra, tan wruh ri[ng] daya nira, [çinabda tkap dewî Gân– dhâri], (h)arwa (1. ro)hara[h]
ta mahârâja Yudhiṣṭhira.
„Ahah mahârâja DhṛtarâṢṭra, a[n]tyanta niṣt(h)uranta ni nghulun, pira ta Sa[h]sar ni[ng] kasewaka ni nghulun mangke sewaka
mahârâja Duryodhana, 5. matan(g)yan rahadyan Sanghulun mahyun tuminggalakna Sanghulun? Narâryya Widura, sâjñâ bha– gawân
Kṛpa, tulungĕn pinake (1. a)nghulun, tan san– toṣa mahârâja Dhṛtarâṣṭra .......
„(Yasya nâ)gasahawasran (1. sreṇa) çeṣatya (1. çatasaṃkhye)na wa(i) balĕ (1. a)m. Sa(ng) prasiddha kadi çakti ning liman sayuta. „So'
ya(ṃ) nârîm [a]wya(pâ)çritya çew (1. t)e r âj â (g a)t e (1. â)s u w a t. Sira ta mogha nistuṣṭa, sâk– Ṣât mati (sinaṇḍa) tkap dewî
Gândhârî, atyanta lalista ri nghulun." Kepwan manangis ta sira kabeh , tan wruh ri de (1. a)ya nira, nguniweh bhaṭârî Kuntî, mwang
dewî Gând(h)ârī (h)arohara tan wring de (1. a)ya nira, samânânor, anglilir mangke mahârâja Dhṛtarâṣṭra, amkulakĕn mahârâja
Yudhiṣṭhira:
„Anaku mahârâja Yudhiṣṭhira, pitung wngi lawas ni nghulun mopawâsa mangke, tar kneng â(hâ)raa>6 mâtra (w)yaktîka he[r]tu ni
nghulun anglih, kahi– langan jîwa, kaharas pwa muk(h)a nghulun de nikang anta, sâkṣât amṛt[t]a paḍanya paweh suka, yata he[s]tu ni
manglilir mangke tulu (1. ta) nghulun muwah, dak (h)iḍĕp suka ning kinon (1. kinol) dene wkaku, atyanta pawitra ni[ng] tanaya ni
nghulun."
„Bapa mahârāja Dhṛtarâṣṭra, apa Sangka ning tan manaḍah? Taha i nghulun .............„Hungsu (1. Ingsun) tan angga manaḍaha,
kunang [hulun] wehakna nghulun wanawâsa, samangkana nghulun manaḍaha." Sadenya mati mopawâsa, tan angga mahârâja
Dhṛta– râṣṭra manaḍaha, athēr amatyana çarîra nira.
Tadanantara ḍatang ta bhagawân B[h]yâsa:
„Yudhiṣṭhira [pinak a]m a(h â b â)h o. Ak (1. n)aku mahârâja Yudhiṣṭhira, sang prasiddha rakṣaka ning bhuwana, (h)aywa tinĕngĕt
râma rahadyan sanghulun, yan mahyun mahas wanawâsa, apan dharmma ning kadi sira, ika yan (h)uwus matuwa, 6 nihan ta sang
Gândhârî sad[dh]âkâlānahĕn lara deni kapjah ning anak, sayogya ta sarikâ tumûtakna Swâma (1. i)brata."
„Sâjñâ mahâmuni, wi(hi)kan pinake (1. a)nghulun, ngûni dharmma ning wṛd(dh)akṣatriya, ikang lumampaha wanawâsa, kunang
he[s]tu ning masayut, ra(ha)de 1. ya)n Kṛṣṇa sumēmba(h) ri[ng] pâdapangkaja haji matan(gn)yan tan wēnang pinakanghulun
wa(n)d(hy)aka, sâjñâ sang mahâmuni tinaḍah dening pinakanghulun."

Alawas tâtûtâlas pakṣa nira, lunghâ ta bhagawân Byâsa, pira ta kunang ta[ha]jinya, mawkaswkas ta ring mahârâja Yudhiṣṭhira,

„Anak ni nghulun mahârâja Yudhisthira, nihan pituturan i[ng]ri[ng] kita:
„Wa (1. i)dyâwṛdya (1. wṛddhân)çca[h] satat a[ḥ] [m]u p â s î d (1. t)h â[h] Yudhiṣṭhir a[ḥ], sakṛṣṇâñca (1. çṛṇuyâs te) priying (1. ca
yad) brûyuḥ s (1. k)uryyâçcai[ḥ]syapa (1. wā– a,7. wi)câran (1. y)a(n).
„Ulaha ning kadi kita prabhu rakwa, (h)aywa juga ngwang madoh ring sa(ng) wruh mangaji yata rēn– gönta, matang(n)yan mangkana
ulah nira mangin– gĕtakĕn sang hyang çâstra, yeka inajarakn ira, sarasa nikang warah kayatnaknanta.
„Ātmâni (1. ca) rakṣ(y)a (1. yo) râjendra [nora] bhojaning (1. âdi)su Bhârata, wihâ– râhâtasmesin (1. rakâleṣu) mâlyasihyaçaṇadisa (1.
çayyâsaneṣu ca).
„Lawan ulahanta prabhu, rakṣantajuga sang hyang âtma, tanpamangana bhojana yar tan kṛt[t]aparîkṣânya, tanpâmngamnga ring tani
yan kāla ning umah amngamnga, tanpaturuha (1. turwa) ring harikar (1. ta)çayyâs[çay]ana yan tan kṛtaparîkṣânya, ma[n]tangnyan
mangkana, akweh wighna ning kadi kita prabhu, makanimita mara ri[kang] sa(ng) kari (1. kadi) kita.
„Striyaḥ (1. yas te ca) suguptang (1. tâḥ) satatam (1. syur) wṛddhair âptair anuṣṭik– weh (1. adhiṣṭhitâḥ), çîlawad(bh)i(ḥ) kulî– nañci
(1. nai)çca.
„Tatan awak juga rakṣanta sahan[ing]a ning anta(ḥ)pura, twa (l. to)nēnta wruhe[he]rika wwang atuha kulîna suçîla, wruha ta yângaji,
yatanya'n enaka de kumawruhi Strîrakṣâ.
„Mantriṇaścai[w]wa ku(r)wlt(h)â[ḥ] dwijân widyâwiç[y]âradân, wa (l. i)nîtâ(ṃ)çca kulihâ (1. lînâṃ)çca dharmmawa (1.
ârtha)kuçalā(n) ṛjûn.
„Yapwan mananĕma kita mantri, wruh ring triwargga ikang gawayĕnta mantri, mat (1. k)apag[y]– e(gwa)na wij (1. d)yâ, wa (1.
wi)ç[y]arada, suçîla, kulîna, (h)aywâc (1. w)akrabuddhi, yata rowanga ning b[h]apa mitranya. [wigraha ngaranya patukar.]
„Ya(dâ) swapakṣo balawan parapakṣa(S) tamacirah (1. thā ’Sthiraḥ). Yan kagawayakna wigraha, yan wli (1. lwih) lwir ni[ng] pakṣanta, i

„Wiparîteng (1. a)sya pakṣasming (l. Sya) sada sandhim samupuyaḥ (1. samāpnuyâḥ).
„Yapwan so(r) pakṣanta, ikang çatru lwih pakṣanya, samangkana ta kita gumawayakna'ng sand(h)i.
„Sâmâd[dh]ibhir upatteḥ (1. upayais twam) a,8. samaye[ḥ] tutuwudwawhaḥ (1. niwiwarttayeḥ).
„Lawan ulahakna mangka(nâd)i durlabha yâlahan ing çatru, gawayakna’ng upâya sâmâd[dh]i, yapwan tan kawnang sinamâd[dh]i,
Yâtrâm yukteka (1. gac– ched bal air) yukta (1. to). Samangkana kita t (1. d)umona, ya ika ta[ha] kâla lwiranta.
„[Sa]yukta(cca) kâli(l. a)deçâ(b)hi (1. bhyam). Maringaringanan kâladeça, (h)aywa pati lumaku.
„Sada (1. Câra)yit(w)â mare (1. para)baling (1. Iaṃ), kṛtwâ s(w)abala[ḥ]pa (1. dar)çanam.
Sang pinet nira ta sang catur warṇṇa, Brâhmaṇa, KṢatriya, Waiçya, Çûdra; nihan ujarakn i nghulun rĕngönta.
„Śântanu(ḥ) pay (1. l)ayāmâsa[]I), Ngûni tambe mahârâja Çântanu rumakṣeng kita, ate (1. ī)ta nira tumût anak nira mahâraja Citrawîç
(1. r)ya rakṣakanta, ri pati nira tumût (t)a bhagawân Bhîṣma, mwang ari ni nghulun mahârâja Pâṇḍu, prasiddha masih iri kita; ri huwus
ika tumût anak ni nghulun sang Duryo[d]dhana, irika ta kita harohara sad[dh]â– kâla, tanpânĕmu inak ambĕk ring Duryodhana, de
ni– ka[ng] durṇaya nyanak ni nghulun sang Duryo[d]dhana.
„(H)ilang nikang Kurukulasantâna, matīkang pṛthiwî de nika[ngj duṢṭa nyanak ni nghulun sang Duryodhana, mangka pwa mahâraja
Yudhiṣṭhira sumilih ratu, muwah ta kita paripûrṇṇa, kadi sukanta ngû– nikâla, mahârâja Çântanu rumakṣeng kita, mangkana sukanta
mangke; tulusa ta mahâraja Yudhiṣṭhira dîrgghâyusa, yata nya’n tâlawasa sukanta.
„Wṛde (l. ddho) 'ya(ṃ) ya (1, ha)ta[ḥ]putraḥ (1. tro) 'yaṃ wanam ewaṃ ga[ḥ]miṢyati.
„Kunang (ng)hulun (h)uwus atuwa, mati tânak i nghulun kabeh, yata matan(g)nyan am(w)itenghulun mangke ri kita, lumakuha (1.
makwa) wanawâsa makaweṢ[y]a sang râjawika (1. ku), samangkana pâjar [ning] sanghu(lu)n iri kita.’’
„Sâjñâ haji mahârâja Dhṛtarâṣṭra, apa yan mangkana wuwus rahadyan sanghulun?
„Na ta (1. tu) Duryo[d]dhanakṛta(ṃ) na ca (1. tu) tad uwaka (1. bhawatâ) kṛtaḥ (1. taṃ).
„[Tan] mahârâja Duryo[d]dhana humilangakĕn pṛthiwîmaṇḍala, tan rahadyan sanghulun mârgganya Kurukulasantâna hilang, apa(n)
pwa ya:
„Daiwam etat (1. tad) wijânemaḥ(1. nīmo) na ça[r]kya(ṃ) pratibâd(h)itum.
„Ikang daiwa Ialis juga ya, ya tika tan kwnang wimṛtangkēn (1. mardanan). Nihan lingnya [ring] sang hyang âgama: „Daiwa(ṃ)
puruṣa[ṃ]kâreṇa[ḥ] sarwwecna? n i d(h)a n a n g g a t a(ṃ).
„lking rât kabeh matan(g)nyan mati, pûrwwata (1. kar)mma hetu nika, inak (k)a(h)yun dening dewata.
„[Mah]akṣauwinyaḥ (1. hiṇyo) mahârâja[ḥ] daçâ[wa]Ṣṭau (ca) samâgataḥ.
„(H)ana pwekang wwang ro (1. wwalu) wlas (ak)Ṣohiṇî, mati ring diwasa wo (1. wwa)luwlas wngi, tatan (h)ana kanimitan ikang mati
lena Sakeng dewa– puruṣa[ng]kâra, matan(g)nyan mahârâja Duryodhana dalihĕn ri kahilang nika, kunang pam(w)it rahadyan
sanghulun mangke, anujñâ[ha]na (h)amba[ha] sanghulun kabeh, umastu(ng)kâra ika, an dharmma ning rahadyan sanghulun, ikang
huwus atuha, tkyēn (1. tkwan) manggĕh pwa manah sanghulun mangke, yan sang Pâṇdawa rumakṣe[ng]kang bhuwanamaṇḍala,
matan(g)nyan mangkana:
„Dṛṣṭa (1. ṭi) [pa]p(r)ad[h]ânam asmâbhiḥ (1. api te) Pâṇḍawâ(n) puruṣaḥ ring raṇasabhâ (1. prati no wṛthâ), samanata (1. marthâs)
tride (1. di)wa[ta]s(y)âpi[ḥ] ba (1. pâ)lape (1. ne) kimpunaḥ kṣite(ḥ).
„(H)uwus katon de nira (h)umilangakn ikang rat,. tan (h)ana kâri balanya de nira, yadyapin ing swarg– galoka ri(ka) karakṣa de nira,
yayân kawnanga ya, ke (1. ki)mpun(aḥ) teka mânuṣaloka, sangkṣepanya: „Pûrwwarâjakṛtaṃ snehaṃ Yudhiṣṭhira (1. r o) w a d â w a k

„Kakang mahârâja Yudhiṣṭhira, kṣamâkna wuwus ning pinake (1. ka)nghulun, mapa ta kalingan i[ng] masih rahadyan sanghulun ikang
DhṛtarâṢṭra, alupa kari rahadyan sanghulun ri[ng] pawehnya larâmbēk? Ara(h) sang Dropadī kasyasih, pinaribhawa de nikang pâpa

kapitangis matutur 9. i[ng] duḥk(h)a ni nghulun.’’
Mangkana ling sang Bhîma; ling sang Dharmmawangça:
„Anten i nghulun sang Wṛkod[h]ara, matan(g)nyan aweh ta nghulun mās ring mahârâja Dhṛtarâṣṭra, mangkana ni (l. ri) pamkas ni[ng]
kakinta bhagawan Bhīṣma don ika, nguniweh ri[ng] gurunta ḍanghyang Droṇa , matan(g)nyan sama wnang ni nghulun irika."
„Kaka mahârâja Yudhiṣṭhira, yan pangiwa donan ikang mās.
„Wayaḥ (l. yaṃ) Bhî(Ṣ)masya kataraḥ (1. dâsyâmaḥ) sarwwakâryyanim (1. yañça) B(h)ârata[ḥ].
„Duk (l. Ḍuh)! sanghulun kabeh milwa ring bha– gawân Bhīṣma, mwang sakweh nira Sang kita (l. pitṛ)tarpananĕnya, tan ika mahârāja
Dhṛtarâṣṭra wehēn mâs ningw[w]ang.
„Kat(h)aṃ twam adya wismatiṃ (l. smṛ– t y a) w a r i m (l. w a i r a ṃ) d w â(d a)ç e (l. ç a)wârkitam (l. Ṣikam), ajñâtawâsa(ṃ) gama–
niṃ (l. hanaṃ) Draupadîçokawarddhaniṃ (l. naṃ)?
„Ika kari rwawlas tahun kitânusup ing alas de rasika, Sad[dh]âkâla mlas-arēp, amukti panla wtis (panastis), muwah ta ring
ajñâ[na]tawartta (l. wâsa), ûnikâla hana ring Wirāṭanagara.’’
„Kaka Wṛkod[h]ara rēngōnta ri wuwus niking Dha– nañjaya, mengēt rika rahadyan sanghulun mahârâja Yudhiṣṭhira, ri laranta ing
wanawâsa ngûni‚ ndâ (da)wanyâmaripûjâ ring mahârâja Dhṛtarâṣṭra, ma– tan(g)nyan mangkana:
„Deśwa (l. Jyeṣṭho) gurur ma (l. me) [nya] t(w)aṃ (m)â [m a ḥ n g k a] t w a (1. ’t o) ’n y a t (1. ’nyad) wakturn utsahe, DhṛtarâṢṭro
ma– hâphalaḥ sarwwat(h)â mânam arhati.
„Sira mahârâja [Yu]Dhṛtarâṣṭra guru tangguha[ra] denta kaka kabeh, prasiddha mahârâja sang lumam– pah ri Çataçṛngga, tan yogya
m (1. ng)wang pratikûlâ ri[ng] sira, matangnyan yogya sira paripûjâ wehana sakahyun ira.
„Sang aryya Widura, tkakna tikang mâs ring mahârâja Dhṛtarâṣṭra, (h)aywa ta pinirĕngō wuwus i[ng] kaka ni nghulun de sang âryya,
sugyan ta an sala– hasâ manah ira, ya sira wehakna.’' Kinabehan sang Wṛkod[h]ara, lunghâ ta sira, lumkas agawayakĕn pitṛtarppaṇa,

megha mang(h)u(dan)akēn, mangkana de nira mawe(h) [d]dhana ‚ kahawan (l. kawâhan) ta sang brâhmaṇa de nikang
mangarppaṇakn ikang bhojana, apan tan [hana] pahi (nga)nika lawan wwah.
Paraknâphalawastro (l. Sawastradhana– ratnaugho) muja (l. mṛda)nggani[ng]nada (l. do) çonaḥ (l. mahân), ga[p]wag (l.
wâç)wama[ng]karâpa (l. wa)rtah (l. to) nl (l. nâ)nâhemajalamṛpaḥ (1. jalârṇawaḥ).
Ninapada (l. Nânâwidha) ikang mas pinakad(h)ana nira, ya tika kangaran mahārṇṇawa, ikang ratna »,12. lawan wastrâgōng rēga (1.
