SUCTION BOTTLE CLEANING PROCESS

1. HCW –Healthcare worker should wear PPE before handling the Suction Bottles.
2. Pour 1% sodium hypochlorite solution into the Suction content and leave it there for
5mins. Discard the content in the dirty utility sink.
3. Wash suction bottle along with the yellow cover with soap and water.

GROWTH OF MICRORGANISM.

OXYGEN HUMIDIFIER CLEANING PROCESS

1. HCW –Healthcare worker should wear PPE before handling the Oxygen Humidifier
Bottles.
2. Wash Thoroughly with Soap and Brush by the HK-Staff.
4. Soak the bottle in fully dissolved SUMA TAB solution for 1 hour. (Preparation: 1 tabs
in 1 liter of water).
