BUDGET MESSAGE

Ladies and Gentlemen:

This is to respectfully submit the proposed Annual Budget of Barangay 184, Zone 19 for Fiscal year 2019.

The estimated income for Fiscal year 2019 amounts to TWELVE MILLIONE NINE HUNDRED FOUR
THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE AND 32/100 PESOS (Php12,904,855.32) and we have
prepared a proposed Expenditure program for the same amount.

The proposed Annual Budget has been prepared in coordination with the Barangay Developmnent Council.

The proposed Expenditure program follows the development direction of the Barangay Development Plan
as approved by the Barangay Assembly. As such, it is fully consistent with the approved Barangay Annual
Investment Program (AIP) for Fiscal Year 2019.

In compliance with the requirements of law, the following have been provided:

20% Development Fund P 2,216,761.80

` 10% Sangguniang Kabataan Fund 1,290,485.53
5% Barangay Disaster Risck Reduction and Management Fund 645,242.77

Provisions for Senior Citizen/PWD have also been included. The 5% GAD requirement has been attributed
to the existing PPA’s.

In sum, we have programmed the following amounts for the two programs:

General Administrtaion Program P 11,728,888.00

Basic Services and Facilities Program 1,175,967.32

Total P 12,904,855.32

Attached to the proposed Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2019 are the approved AIP, List of Projects under
the 20% Development Fund, Plantilla of Personnel, and DILG- endorsed GAD Plan and Budget.

The Sangguniang Kabataan )SK) has prepared their separate budget pursuant to R.A. No. 10742 and is
submitting the same as an integral part of the Barangay Annual Budget for enactment.

Accordingly, I respectfully request the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Barangay to enact an
Appropriation Ordinance authorizing the proposed Barangay Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2019.
