Vintage Levi’s Jeans Guide – Selvedge

Selvedge juga dikenali sebagai ‘redlines’ atau yang dalam akaimimis japanese bererti
‘kuping merah’. Hal ini terletak di bahagian dalam lapisan luar dari jins. Ini menunjukkan
sepasang pembiakan vintage atau vintage Levi’s. Keterangan lain harus digunakan dalam
rangka untuk mengenal pasti jins sebagai vintage atau pembiakan. Generasi pertama dari
Levi’s jeans dibuat dengan kain bebek tidak mengandungi redlines atau bluelines. Mereka
telah whitelines atau putih telinga
Satu garisan whiteline, tidak ada benang merah atau biru ‘line’ berjalan melalui putih.

Satu Blueline stitch – ditemui di Levi’s 201 dari awal abad ke-20. Paling sering ditemui saat
ini di vintage pembiakan jins seperti LVC 201. Terdapat permintaan yang tinggi baik bagi
pembiakan dan origionals daripada kolektor. eBay tawaran pada repros boleh berjumlah
ratusan dolar sedangkan untuk origionals boleh berjalan ke ribuan
Redline yang terkenal. Digunakan sehingga pertengahan 1980-an. Merah muda mungkin
akan pudar atau hilang sama sekali kerana berat dicuci. Mengharap untuk membayar atau
mendapatkan $ 30 + untuk yang terbaru di eBay, lebih tinggi untuk model lama. Lihat

Barangan dr jenama Levi”s sering dikaitkan dengan barangan tiruan,malah ada yang hampir
100% KUALITINYA sama dgn levi’s,jadi berhati-hatilah berbelanja.. Tidak hanya dihasilkan
sebagai tiruan, mereka juga menyasarkan pasaran vintage kerana di pasaran vintage antara
yang paling laris. Kebanyakan Levi’s palsu adalah ‘Vintage’ 501 dengan semua atau beberapa
detail yang membuat jeans Levi vintage nyata berharga. Ini boleh termasuk: -The Red Tab
dengan modal ‘E “yang nyata tarikh Levi’s untuk pra-1971 -V-Stitch butang di dekat
bahagian atas. Vintage lain karakteristik -Buckle di belakang (Buckleback) -Bar Rear
ditempelkan Pockets Sebahagian besar barangan tiruan berasal dari Thailand di mana mereka
dicipta dengan tenaga kerja murah dan bahan-bahan. Denim yang digunakan untuk

Jeans yang dikenali sebagai “Big ‘E’” Levis umumnya adalah jeans yang keluaranyan
sebelum 1971. tradmarknya adalah huruf E pada tab belakang merah. Fitur identifing ini harus
digunakan dalam hubungannya dengan ciri pengenalan lain untuk membuktikan keaslian dan
perbezaan antara yang tulen dan tiruan.

Big E yang terkenal tab. tanda (R) pada tab juga menunjukkan jeans yang dikeluarkan selepas
1950 – Ketika ® mulai muncul sebagai Levi tab merah telah menjadi tanda dagangan
berdaftar.

antara perbezaan lain adalah. -3 Digit, 555 atau J, J21 stampings di atas butang atas
menunjukkan jenis keluaran jeans 501 stamping biasanya menunjukkan palsu. -Digit
stamping diatas butang menunjukkan otentik vintage jeans -Offset tengah tali pinggang,
Single Stitch Rear Pockets dan menunjukkan jahitan berwarna Lemon Real Big E Jeans.

jeans levi’s kedua paling popular ialah Vintage 501 Lewi dan tradmarknya ialah ‘single
stitch’. keluaran ini dari pertengahan tahun 1970-an . Keterangan lain harus digunakan dalam
hubungannya dengan yang satu ini anda benar tarikh item. Contoh: – Jeans dengan jahitan
satu saku dan kecil ‘e’ pada tab merah itu dibuat antara 1971-1976 (est) – Jika tab merah ‘E’,
ianya dibuat sebelum 1971. – Top butang akan selalu mempunyai satu nombor atau huruf
tercetak di atasnya. Tripple digit menunjukkan sebuah ‘jahitan ganda’ yang lebih baru. – 6, 2,
5, P ialah butang Common setem. ’6 ‘Yang paling umum. Anda boleh melihat seluar jeans ini
disebut sebagai ’66 ‘s’ atau ‘Route 66 Levis’ – ’6 ‘Juga digunakan pada “double stitch’ jeans
– yang merupakan langkah di bawah ini.

Jenama Levi’s sangatlah sinonim bila bercakap pasal jeans. Model yang paling simbolik ialah Levi’s 501.
Walaupun telah dikeluarkan lebih seabad( 2003 genap 125 th) namun popularitinya masih unggul
berbanding model-model. Nilai vintage pada Levi’s 501 sememangnya tak dapat ditandingi. Namun,
Levi’s 501 telah melalui sedikit sebanyak modifikasi sepanjang lebih seabad ni. Antaranya secar kasar :

 “LEVI’S” dengan semua huruf besar, dibuat sebelum 1971. Jika logo wujud pada kedua-dua sisi
label, jeans tersebut dibuat bermula 1950-an. Jika label dieja “LeVI’S” ( e dengan huruf kecil),
jeans dibuat selepas 1971. Levi’s tanpa tab( label merah) dibuat sebelum 1936.

 Jeans Vintage Levi’s 501 mempunyai ‘jahitan V’ dengan jahitan emas bermula pada hujung
butang dan bergerak secara berpenjuru hingga ke bahagian pinggang. Ia akan bersilang dengan
jahitan emas horizontal untuk membentuk design ‘V’.

 Kesemua jeans Levi’s dicirikan dengan label kulit coklat pada atas poket belakang sebelah
kanan( patch/ pai). Patch seharusnya mempunyai nombor design( ie; 501) pada bawah corner
kiri dan logo 2 kuda Levi’s dicop dengan merah. Akhir 1950-an, Levi’s menukar patch dari
material kulit kepada kad tebal menyerupai kulit.

 Terbalikkan jeans dan perhatikan pada jalur menegak yang menyilang sepanjang kelepet( hem).
Jika kain tersebut mempunyai potongan putih kecil pada salah satu sisi( dipanggil selvage), jeans
tersebut adalah vintage. Jika tiada, jeans tersebut kontemporari( tapi ada juga new vintage).

Many Christians are often fond of accusing Muslims of committing several honor killings in
the name of Islam; they then use this line of argument as a reason to discredit Islam in their
eyes. In this article we shall once again turn the table on the Christian showing that honor
killings can be found in the Bible, and that the Bible is for honor killings! Hence by their own
criteria, Christians will have to abandon their own book.
Let us now see the honor killings in the Bible:
Lev 21:9 And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she
profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
So note, if the priests daughter commits a bad sexual act, she is to be burned because of her
fathers reputation, because it is against his honor. What will Christian say now? This is one
example of honor killing in the Bible, in fact the act is ordered by the Bible itself.
"And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death. (Exodus 21:17)"
"For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed
his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.(Leviticus 20:9)"
So here the children are put to death for insulting their parents, this is another example of
honor killings, the children are put to death for dis-honoring their very own parents and the
punishment is death.

contain [1], originate from the Talmud and other Rabbinic sources. So Christians don't really

Cara2 :-

- panaskan minyak dan tumis bhn2 kisar hingga naik bau.

- masukkan daun kari, sos tomato, sos cili, pes tomyam dan kicap pekat.
- setelah kuah pekat, masukkan sotong dan sedikit air.
- masukkan taufu, sdkt garam dan perasa secukupnya.
- gaul rata dan tutup api...

For all those who have traveled in an airplane, you might have pondered upon the question of
why is there a hole at the bottom of an airplane window. It is a common feature of passenger
planes and Director of Technology, Marlowe Moncur, from GKN Aerospace explained its
importance. It is part of the safety features of the aircraft. The hole is responsible for
regulating the pressure within the cabin.

The ‘breather hole’ works as a bleed valve. According to a patent that was filed by
Daimlerchrysler Aerospace Airbus in 1997, this ‘air conduit’ maintains ‘external atmospheric
pressure inside’ the panes. The air is pressurized by engines which compress it so as to create
the thrust. This pressurized air is held inside the cabin with an outflow valve.

Sensors ascertain how much of pressure is in the cabin and this valve (the hole) then releases
air at a maintained rate so as to keep the pressure at a specified level. The valve is open when
the plane is stationary and begins to close once the plane has taken off. The air at the sea level
is at 14.7 PSI and a conventional flight travels at a height that is between 9,150 and 12,200
meters. Pressure drops to 4.3 PSI at this height and since oxygen is available in low quantity
at high altitudes the plane’s cabin has to be pressurized for safety and comfort of passengers.

Philip Spiers, Head of Advanced Structural Testing Centre at the University of Sheffield
Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) with Boeing said, “at high altitudes there
are not enough oxygen molecules to sustain life. Low pressure lowers the boiling points inside
the body and at the edge of space, this can cause blood and tears to boil.”

He further added, “Planes have a higher pressure inside than outside. It’s like a bottle of
Coca-Cola – shaking a bottle makes it go stiff and hard but when you undo it, it becomes
floppy again. This stretches the skin around the plane.” The pressure inside the cabin is
maintained at 11 PSI – same level of pressure experienced at around 2,130 meters.

“If the pane was sealed [and didn’t have a hole in it], all the pressure in the cabin would act on
the inside pane of glass,” further added by Mr Spiers. “You want [this pressure] to act on the
outside pane because if there is a problem with the outside it would be possible to see it
during inspection. If this pressure blows that pane out, the inside pane is still strong enough to
hold the pressure. You don’t want to see the inside pane fail first as the inspectors wouldn’t
see that. Plus, this gives enough time for the plane to drop to a lower altitude to manage the
issue.”

Michal Weiszer, research fellow at the School of Engineering at the University of Lincoln
added, “During flight, the cabin is pressurized and therefore it is necessary to equalize the
pressure between the inner pane and the actual window, so the outer window holds the load of
the pressure difference. Furthermore, the hole prevents from moisture building up between the
panes.”
