It must be mentioned that, Chittagong Grammar School (CGS), founded in 1992, has since achieved
distinction within the community as an institution committed to educational excellence. CGS believes
that it is important to give back to the community. And that’s how the journey of the CGS Community
School began on 4th February, 2012 in Dhaka. What started as a class of 18 students, now has grown to
a school of 318 students, 24 teachers and 2 campus. Unlike under schools for underprivileged, CGS
Community School offers sincere teacher supervision, supply of free books, copies, drawing materials,
clothes and a healthy meal. As a result, the reputation of the CGS Community School spread rapidly and
children of underprivileged families rushed to get enrolled here.
