Simple Business Essay

Every business organization is determined to make benefits and lower the operational

costs. No profit making firm want to spend more funds on employees than its sales.

Manufacturing and processing companies have many employees if not well managed can result

in significant loses. The financial institutions were also faced with a lot of paper works to

finalize payments. Technology has made various jobs more comfortable, and productivity has

increased. The only methane disadvantage of technique in the business world is the creation of

unemployment situations in both the developed and developing nations. The paper discusses

artificial intelligence.

One Business Problem that My Organization Faced that could be solved with the

Application of New or Improved Technology

Organization

I was based in a manufacturing organization that relied on the traditional modes of

decision making and labor analysis. The use of ledger in payment was very rampant because

there was no alternative. People had no option but to employ the use of robust calculators to aid

in financial computations. The company hired a lot of manual labor to help in cleaning and

maintain ledger accounts. The manual workers, the human being, was prone to massive errors

and repetitive jobs daily. A human being can forget even significant issues that are financially

related. The company could not make any profits because the wasted resources and funds were

substantial. Financial and economic experts could not even contain the losses. The firm could not

compete favorably in the industry since the manufactured products became boring in the minds

of the buyers. Human beings who formed the majority of the labor positions were not resistant to

hostile environments. If the organization depended on a given variable that was in severe

condition, then no profit would be made since the ordinary human being is never resistant.

Decision making forms the developmental and growth parts of any organization. Experts have

enough proved to show that human judgment is full of errors that might cost the firm negatively.

Technology

A lot of changes has taken place since the manufacturing company embraced and

employed the use of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is the practice of simulating the

human brain in a computer system to carry out machine processes (Reddy, 2019). The methods

that can be duplicated are learning, reasoning, and self-correction. Artificial intelligence has

three essential components, the expert system, and speech recognition device and the vision part.

The technology had reduced all the errors the firm encountered when I was there. Robots have

excellent reading accuracy with high degrees of precision.

The tools are reinforced with metal materials that make them resistant. Robots can endure

hostile environments to maximize profits. Artificial intelligence has helped the firm to arrange

and manage the existing data (Reddy, 2019). All the manual ledgers have been abolished given

the bulkiness of the papers and furniture involved for storage. Artificial intelligence is a tool that

has bailed the company's position of making judgments. Robotics experts have maintained that

artificial intelligence cannot afford to make unnecessary mistakes and errors. Owners and

managers of various organizations trust the tool. The device has boosted the management system

of the company. Managers are no longer carrying out manual supervisions in the organization

since the artificial intelligence has monitoring ability. The technique can collect and store

relevant supervision information. The data can also be retrieved when needed anytime.

Members of the organization have responded positively to the conception of artificial

intelligence technology. As a former employee of the firm, I am very sure not all company

workers are happy with the device. The technology is likely to deprive many employees their job

positions. No one would be happy if their job occupations are jeopardized any way. Majority of

the company employees were dependent on manual skills and knowledge. Managers and

departmental leaders heavily relied on manual labor. Firm employees are likely to face various

changes to accommodate the artificial intelligence. The main goal of technology is to reduce

human labor and increase productivity and profits. The firm will be forced to sack some workers

to replace the human mind (Goodman, 2019). More work will be performed by the device (Vyas,

2018). Majority of the employees are capable of learning and understanding new ideas and

concepts. In short, most of the employees will not get quite a job because of the introduction of

artificial intelligence.

Customers will rejoice with the introduction of technology. Consumers will receive

quality products and services owing to the manufacturing procedures of the robots. Owners of

the firm are the happiest people since they are getting a lot of profits. The operational costs of the

firm have reduced. Managers are happy since they are achieving their goals comfortably.

In conclusion, no business organization is at peace when a lot of losses are encountered.

The modern companies are working hard to make huge profits and to reduce operating costs.

When manual labor is reduced, funds allocated for wages are translated into benefits. The only

concept that can reduce human energy is the use of technology. Technology, like artificial

intelligence, can improve product quality and reduce labor.
