PERSONAL PROFILE
Seeking a position as a senior structural design engineer in a dynamic organization where I can utilize
my knowledge, skills and abilities, and further learn and contribute in positive ways for challenging,
creative and diversified projects. I look forward for professional growth and training to become
resourceful, innovative and flexible. Recently completed my MSc (ENG) in Sustainable Structural
Engineering with distinction under the Commonwealth Scholarship award 2015/16. I have an extensive
experience of 6.5 years of working on all major technical aspects of tunnel/ underground structures,
bridges, buildings (Data Centres/mission critical facilities), and power projects at detailed as well as
feasibility stages.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
 Comprehensive problem solving abilities with analytical thinking, good verbal and written
communication skills, ability to deal with people, willingness to learn, team facilitator and a hard
worker. Open minded to work in complex environment and projects.
 Extensive experience in design of RCC structures and steel structures using STAAD pro/ GSA and
FEM based software like LUSAS, ABAQUS, ANSYS. Experience in design of mass concrete
structures like dams, RCC and steel bridges, and complex building structures like powerhouses.
Software proficiency: C, C++, Visual Basics,3-D BIM tools REVIT, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SAP,
ETABS,SAFE, SketchUp, OASYS GSA, SQL (DBMS), LUSAS, MIDAS and ABAQUS, ANSYS APDL and
Workbench.
 Well conversant with International design standards like BS/ Eurocodes, DMRB, IRC, IRS, IS, AS
5100, AASHTO and USACE.
 In addition to these technical skills, extensive involvement in Project/ Design Management,
Design coordination of major Infrastructure projects. Acted as Design coordinator/ Assistant
Project Manager in couple of major Infrastructure design projects and gathered valuable
experience related to all other interrelated disciplines.

framed structure with conventional beam-slab system. The project consists of a
five- storey Tier-4 Data centre consisting of 24 MW nominal IT load and
99.999% availability for servers. Total area covered is around 20,000 sqm
inclusive of office facilities and utility support areas.
 Inter-disciplinary coordination alongwith conceptual design review for CSA
alongwith HVAC/PHE and electrical and other related disciplines apart from
clash analysis and design optimization to achieve low PUEs and better space
utilization. The systematic design and review was taken up as the models were
developed in stages from LOD 100 to LOD 350 from conception to detail design
as per RIBA plan of framework.
