DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Inspect the job site frequently.

 Check and follow up of work permits.
 Safety precautions to be carried out at the confined places assignments.
 Safety precautions to be carried out during welding, cutting, grinding and critical
lifting.
 Implementations of safety precautions during trenching excavation and
scaffolding.
 Implementation of proper usage of PPE.

  Safe Work Procedures: Development and monitoring of compliance of safe work
procedures. Few procedures developed are Plant Change Management, Safe
use of Scaffolds and Ladders, Safe Work Permit System, Entry in to Confined
Spaces, etc.
 Safety Training Development program on various safety topics, Classroom
training to workers.
 Site Emergency Plan, Safety Manual, Company Safety Standards, etc.
 Safety Motivational Activities: To organize safety competitions, Safety quiz,
Safety week celebrations, National Safety Day celebration, Safety games, etc.
 Safety Organizations: To get membership of various national and international
safety organizations, to maintain correspondence with all such organizations.
 Inspect fire extinguishers date for replacements area wise.
 Inspect emergency lights and exit lights.
 Respond to trouble calls.
 Follow all guidelines for testing (label placement, PPE).
 Build strong working relationships with employees to guide them for safety.
 Ensure excellent communication with Safety Team.
 Ensure accuracy when recharging and servicing units.
 Work with a high degree of self motivation.
 Complete and process required paperwork in a timely fashion.
 Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately to limit liability.
 Attend regular safety meetings for updates on policies and safety instructions.
 Complete all duties as assigned by Supervisor in a timely manner
