Think Globally, Act Locally

What is the meaning of “think globally, act locally”? “Think globally, act
localy” is a common principle that is applied to organizations, business, education
and governance. It asks that employees, students and citizens consider the global
impact of their actions."Think globally, act locally” is when you do some local
acts,you should think which is the best options available globally. It makes sure
that, you make use of best options available in the world when acting upon certain
things near you.Or It means you need to think about problems on a global scale,
and the best way to deal with this is to act on these problems locally, as if
everyone did that then the global problem would be solved.There are many global
issues that impacts the whole world. Pollution is one example of a global issue
that can affect everyone.

According to Wikipedia, pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the

natural environment that cause adverse change. Pollution can take the form
of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat or light. Pollutants, the
components of pollution, can be either foreign substances/energies or naturally
occurring contaminants. Pollution is often classed as point source or nonpoint
source pollution. In 2015, pollution killed 9 million people in the world. Among
the types, air pollution caused the most victims.

There are so many ways to prevent air pollution that can be done by us. The most
basic thing to do is use public transportation.Use our vehicles less often. That
way, we aren’t contributing to all of the issues that the air is already dealing with
before adding our car to the mix. Next is plant a garden that is going to give the
air the nutrients that it needs to be cleaner. There are so many plants out there that
will eat up the junk in the atmosphere. Do theresearch and see what one(s) we can
grow easily and that will help the world around us. Another thing to do is turn off
the lights when we don’t use it. Don’t keep the lights or other electric devices on.
The more traditional power that we are using, the more energy we’re wasting and
the more that we’re polluting the air.And last but not least, let the people around
you know about how they can contribute to clean air initiatives and educate them
about all of the different ways that they can take care of the
environment themselves.

Hopefully, if we do those ways to prevent the air pollution, we can make our
world to a better place. Our choices, even if just one person, can make a
difference by doing it. And that’s what “think globally, act locally” really means,
to think about your impact on the world as you go about your daily life.
