Research shows that single gender classes have more college acceptance than
public schools. In single gender schools the rate of acceptance to colleges are higher
than public high schools. Single gender classrooms are a benefit to education because
there is less distractions. The separate genders will be more comfortable with the same
gender, and being their true selves. When the students are being themselves with other
Many people believe that single gender schools would make student’s
academics improve their educational achievements. Single gender classes improve the
students focus, while also making them more comfortable in their environment.
Separating the students isn’t quite the problem, students who attend private schools do
academically better. Private schools have more funding for supplies, teachers, staff, and
resources to help with their students. Public schools do not have as much as Private
schools do, they seem to be overcrowded making it hard for students to get much
attention as necessary to learn. There is a huge differences between both private and
Both genders can be a distraction to one another in many different ways. The
distractions can be in the form of bullying from the other gender or in a emotional way.
There is a high rate that females will not get bullied due to being the same gender and
less social pressure. If a student is being bullied they will tend to miss school more
because they are afraid to go. Another example of distractions is being paired into
group projects, the people in a students group can either do the work and help out or be
a bump on the road and not do anything and become an obstacle. These distractions
can happen less with single gender classes and the difference inside the classrooms.
On the other hand, some people believe it is wrong to separate the genders, it is
like Washington want the whole country to be contested on who is better between male
and females. Another specific reason why people would disagree with my claim is
because they think males and females will collaborate better and learn from each other.
However, the fact remains that single sex institutions send a higher percentage of
students to college than public schools do. My argument is correct because I and others
believe males and females have more educational opportunities and are taught better
separate.
Private single gender schools create a high percentage of the most to send to
college. Single sex schools are a benefit to the students education and in creating
opportunities. The teachers can use a strategy with another gender that won’t work with
the other that will create a benefit for them. Single gender schools do have higher

college acceptance and the education is a benefit for students for each gender, this
completes the statement that single gender schools are better for the benefit of the
future.
