Avec moi, �a ressemblait � Bild_1 dans la pi�ce jointe. Si vous comparez la
premi�re colonne avec la version et la pr�sentation du paquet de _Focus_RS_ (1er
message), vous obtenez les num�ros de version suivants:

Les num�ros de version diff�rents dans la deuxi�me colonne par rapport aux num�ros
de version qui donnent les codes de lettre et que les deux packs de navigation ne
sont pas � la m�me version que les packs de syst�me peuvent �tre n�glig�s ici.

Vous pouvez quitter le mode de diagnostic en revenant au menu principal du mode de

diagnostic via le bouton de retour, puis en quittant avec "Diagnostic de sortie".

Vous trouverez plus d'informations dans SYNC 3 directement sous "Param�tres" ->
"G�n�ral" -> "A propos de SYNC" (Bild_2 dans l'annexe). le num�ro de version du
syst�me (v2.2 ici doit �tre la m�me dans tous les cas avec les num�ros de version
des packs syst�me ...), la version de Gracenote ou des cartes de navigation (dans
le cas de � l'UE 4 15 � correspond alors v2.0)

ATTENTION, IMPORTANT:
Comme nous venons de le constater en mode diagnostic, la version 2.2 est
actuellement charg�e. Dans ce cas, vous devriez d'abord mettre � jour vers la
version 2.3, puis seulement vers la version 3.0, sinon il y a r�guli�rement des
complications ...

2.) Update from v2.2 to v2.3

2.1) Preparation
- Open Windows Explorer and change to the "Downloads" folder
- Create folder "SYNC 3 v2.3"
- From the first post of _Focus_RS_ each of the 3 links from the section "Sync 3
v2.3.17109" click and download the deposited with the cloud provider files in the
newly created order "SYNC 3 v2.3"
- change to the folder "SYNC 3 v2.3"
- Unzip the 3 files (I use 7-Zip (7-zip.de), just right mouse click on the packed
file, menu item 7-Zip -> Unzip to "Sync 3 v2.3 -...")

2.2) Update
ATTENTION! IMPORTANT:
The updates of each pack must be done in a specific order
1. the package with the system pack
2. the package with the navigation voice pack
3. the package with the Navigation Map Pack

Means in the case

1. "Sync 3 v2.3 System System (2.3.17109) Voice (2.3.16322) Gracenotes (1.1.1.794)"
2. "Sync 3 v2.3 - Navigation F6.1 - Voice (2.3.16284)"

- open the file German.nfo (alternatively the English.nfo) with an editor
- There are 5 links to files on the Ford servers in the file (start with
"ivsu.binaries.ford.com"), copy a link and open it in the browser

DONTINDX.MSA and a folder " SyncMyRide "(including the 5 files just downloaded + 1
file that was already in the folder)
- Now copy the contents of the folder "Sync 3 v2.3 - System - System (2.3.17109)
Voice (2.3.16322) Gracenotes (1.1.1.794)" to the USB stick / USB hard disk
- check briefly whether the folder "SyncMyRide" (including the 6 files), the file
autoinstall.lst and the file DONTINDX.MSA exist on the USB stick / USB hard disk
(the two files and the folder are allowed on the USB stick / USB hard disk are not
in any other folder !!!)
- Disconnect USB stick / USB hard disk "cleanly" (right-click on the USB stick /
USB hard disk, menu item "Eject")
- Switch on SYNC 3 and wait until it has fully started up
- Insert USB stick / USB hard disk
- in the display (at the top, where the "house symbol" or time, etc.) are, the
message appears that a system update is performed (depending on which pack is
updated, it can take several minutes to half an hour and more take until the
message comes, but as long as the "light" on the USB stick / USB hard drive is
still "flashing" everything is fine ...)
- when the update is completed comes a corresponding message (Bild_3 in the
appendix)
- Disconnect USB stick / USB hard disk
- Switch off the ignition
- the next time the SYNC 3 is switched on, a symbol (circle with "i") appears on
the top right edge, if you tap on it, you will receive further information on the
update carried out

Actually, I would now copy the entire section here twice and only at the 1st copy
the folder name "Sync 3 v2.3 - System - System (2.3.17109) Voice (2.3.16322)
Gracenotes (1.1.1.794)" by "Sync 3 v2.3 - Navigation F6.1 - Voice (2.3.16284)" and
in the 2nd copy by "Sync 3 v2.3 - Navigation F6.1 - Map (2.3.16284) License (2.3)"
replace it and change the number of files to download if necessary ... but I think
that should be synonymous everyone ...

If you are through with the three, you can again check the current version as
described in point 1. This should look like this:

3.) Update from v2.3 to v3.0
I had problems with the files from the first post of _Focus_RS_ from the section
"Latest update compilation: Sync 3 v3.0 ...." when updating from v2.3 to v3.0. In
this respect, I recommend and will also only describe the way through the
individual packages.

3.1) Preparation
- Open Windows Explorer and change to the "Downloads" folder

4) Update on individual packs to latest version
Every now and then it may happen that individual packs are revised by Ford and are
available as an update. In contrast to a large version jump such. from v2.2 to v2.3
or from v2.3 to v3.0, where you should bring all packs to the next version, in this
case it is sufficient to update the single pack. This can be done analogously as in
an update of e.g. v2.3 to v3.0.
For a better overview, I describe here again the way for the currently most current
system pack in v3.0.18025:

- Insert and format the USB stick / USB hard disk into the computer (file system
NTFS or FAT, fast formatting is sufficient)
- from the first post of _Focus_RS_ click on the link "Sync 3 v3.0 - System
v3.0.18025" from the section "Sync 3 v3.0 - System - Navigation // Versions and
individual packages" and the files deposited with the cloud provider Download to
the Downloads folder
- go to the folder "Downloads"
- Unpack the file (I use 7-Zip (7-zip.de), just right-click on the packed file,
menu item 7-Zip -> Unzip to "Sync 3 v3.0 -...")
- change to the folder "Sync 3 v3.0 - System - System (3.0.18025)"
- open the file German.nfo (alternatively the English.nfo) with an editor
- In the file is a link to the file on the Ford server (starts with
"ivsu.binaries.ford.com"), copy the link and open in the browser
- the file directly into the folder "SyncMyRide" (is in the directory "Sync 3 v3.0
- System - System (3.0.18025)") download
- Briefly check if in the folder "Sync 3 v3.0 - System - System (3.0.18025)" there
is a file autoinstall.lst, a file DONTINDX.MSA and a folder "SyncMyRide" (including
the file just downloaded)
- Now copy the contents of the folder "Sync 3 v3.0 - System - System (3.0.18025)"
to the USB stick / USB hard disk
- Check briefly whether the folder "SyncMyRide" (including the file just
downloaded), the file autoinstall.lst and the file DONTINDX.MSA exist on the USB
stick / USB hard disk (the two files and the folder are allowed on the USB stick /
USB hard drive in no other folder lie !!!)

5) general notes:
Yes, I know you would have in v3.0 you can also swap the older versions of the
various packs available in the big packages directly against the latest version by
changing autoinstall.lst, etc., but I wanted the step-by-step instructions to be as
simple as possible hold.

I have deliberately adopted all version numbers and designations, as these are the
version numbers and pacts that are currently available in the _Focus_RS_ post and,
above all, also work to update SYNC 3 to version 3.0.

I think it should be clear that I assume no liability for damages occurring ...
