A. research methods
In this study, we use qualitative methods. The qualitative research method is
by direct observation to the field.
C. research subject
the subjects in our study were a number of Medan State University students
who studied English business.

A. Results
Based on research carried out on several collage students faculty of ekonomi, state
university of Medan\, the following results were obtained:

B. Discussion
From the observations we made at the faculty of economics, 63% of students like
to learn English, 63% of students think that learning business English can help in
knowing business, 97% increase in student vocabulary after studying business, but
20% of students who can speak in English after attending an English business
class.

so the conclusion we can take is that the lecturers actually have taught correctly,
but because English subjects are difficult subjects, and most students also avoid
English so they have difficulty understanding what the lecturers teach. and with
the presence of English in this business, it can add insight to students related to
business, and can find out more about how the business really is. Even though
their vocabulary increased but still they still had difficulty speaking in English.
means the conclusion is that students' English and business skills improve but
their ability to speak English does not increase.

CLOSING
A. CONCLUSION
in our study which took place at the faculty of economy, state university of
Medan. that the conclusion was that students' English and business skills
improved but their ability to speak English did not increase.
B. SUGESTION
It is recommended for lecturers to train more students in speaking English. and for
collage students to practice more and read vocabularies so that they are
accustomed to English so that students' understanding of English will also
increase
