at the meething the knight sat at the round table. only lancelot is seat was empty.

just as percival was ready to fight sir gawain, lancelot rode up on his beatiful,
white horse.

gawain.
both gawain and ,lancelot fought well. they started on their horses and used thier
lances to knock each other onto the ground. then they fought with heir sword,
gawain managed to push his sword into lancelot is chest and lancelot fell down. but
he managed to stand up again
and he flew at gawain so taht gawain was now on the ground and lancelot held his
sword over him. he was ready to kill him, "what do you say now?" asked lancelot.
"you are not guilty! is is not true!" said gawain.
lancelot smiled but then he fell down. his wound was serious. the knights took him
into the castle.
Arthurs went to seee lancelot. lancelot was very ill and did no want to live.
Arthur called Merlin, "Help him, Merlin. Make lancelot live" he asked him.
So merlin did some magic, Guinevere also came to see lancelot. she gave him water
and tried to geal his wound, finally lancelot recoveres he got up from his bed and
he went into the forest.
he dd not want to stay at camelot where hisbest friend arthur did not trust him and
where the beautiful ginevere lived.
