INTRODUCTION TO THE CELEBRATION AND PENENTIAL RITE
Celebrant: My dear brothers and sisters, as we gather together
before the altar of the Lord to give thanks for the
culmination of our School Year 2018-2019, we remember
in our prayers today all those who have been
instruments of God’s providence in bringing us this joyful
day of our graduation. We especially pray for the parents,
professors and academic personnel, friends, and those
who have given you support in the midst of your striving
to earn an education.
Coming then as one community, let us acknowledge our
sins and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred
mysteries.
Assembly: I confess to Almighty God, and to you my brothers and
sisters, that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in
my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed

BLESSING OF GRADUATES

Dean: Reverend Father, I present with joy, the graduates for school year
2018-2019. We also present to you these diplomas, medals, and
other school awards for which we worked during their stay in school.
We ask you to pray that they will always be a reminder of our duty to
serve God and country with zeal and loyalty.
Celebrant: God our father, you are the fountain of knowledge and virtues.
Grant that these, your sons and daughters whom you filled with
divine and human gifts may dedicate themselves to you and the
people with unfailing generosity and love. Through Christ our Lord.
