CRITICAL THINKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING

To me, being able to critically thinking and problem-solving means being able to think
outside of the box and come up with quick and easy solutions to issues. The best way I’ve
demonstrated critical thinking or problem solving would be in a large majority of my projects in
school. I always wait till last minute to do my assignments which results in me having to quickly
problem solve for how I'm going to finish my assignment on-time. I would say that I use critical
thinking less than anything else but I know I could use it more in my school work. Especially
during English and math, I know I could apply more critical thinking.

2. COLLABORATION ACROSS NETWORKS AND LEADING BY INFLUENCE

Collaboration Across Networks and Leading By Influence to me means being a leader.
I’m not usually much of a leader since I dont like to tell people to do things or I usually feel bad
about asking people to do things for me. I’m also not very good at collaboration. I'd much
rather just work by myself and complete my work alone. In the future, I could definitely work
harder on my collaborative skills.

3. AGILITY AND ADAPTABILITY

Agility and adaptability means being able to change how you do something for the sake
of the environment you're in currently. This is something I’m usually good at. Most of the time I
find it very easy to adapt to my environment and get my work done as easily as possible. I find
myself adapting quickly and getting adapted to new classes and new places very often. Some
ways I could learn to adapt more in the future is in terms of my procrastination. I tend to
constantly procrastinate but in the long run, I still get the grades and I still get things are done,
which results in me procrastinating more since it works. lately, my grades have been getting
worse because of this, meaning I'm not adapting as well as I thought I was.

4. INITIATIVE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Initiative and Entrepreneurship to me means being motivated to do your own things and
that you dont always have to be a follower. In some cases, I do this, where I opt out of doing a
group project and just do it by myself. But in other cases I dont do this. Sometimes I join a
group project and I chose to do the bare minimum and just to cruise. I could definitely work on
taking more initiative to do things on my own and being less of a procrastinator.

5. EFFECTIVE ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION

Although I rarely respond to my messages, communication itself is something I'm not
bad at. communication to me means being able to clearly state what I need, or what is
happening to those around me. I much prefer to communicate in person no matter what and I
tend to ignore my phone. Next year I can work more on my written communication but for
now, my oral communication isn't bad.

6. ACCESSING AND ANALYZING INFORMATION

Accessing and analyzing information to me is important because students need to be
able to understand the information they are given in life and school. As a student, I need to be
able to access and analyze the information I’m given on a daily basis. I could continue to work
on this skill during the rest of my high school career by making sure when I analyze information
that it is correct, so I can continue to improve my analytical skills.

7. CURIOSITY AND IMAGINATION

According to the article and in my opinion curiosity and imagination are important
because it's not just necessary to be smart, but to also be creative and to wonder about the
world. Being curious about the world opens new doors and allows for more opportunities to
learn. I am curious but I can definitely work on my imaginative skills. Something that has always
bothered me is that I know how to do things, but I dont have any ideas.
