HISTORY OF THE ORGANISATION :

Indo Asian is an enterprise which was formed in 1958 by a young group of

technicians. It has grown into multi-product , group of companies , marketing
and manufacturing a wide range of electrical control and equipment. The quality
of these products have earned a superior value in Indian markets and also all
over the world involving 40 countries under the popular brand names : Indo
kopp Mcbs Stopshock RCCBs, Indo Asian HRC Fuselinks, Indo Asian
Industrial Plugs & Sockets and Contactors & Relays.
It was about almost 50 years back , on 8th August ,1958 young technocrats
India`s first sheet steel enclosed rewirable switch at Jalandhar in Punjab. This
marked the birth of Indo Asian, which today has grown into a multi-product,
multi-location company specializing in manufacturing and marketing a wide
range of high-tech electrical products used for distribution, protection, control
and conservation of electrical energy.
The group's pursuit of achievement is backed by extensive in-house R & D,
technical and commercial collaborations with world leaders Heinrich Kopp AG
with over 150 highly qualified, technical Managers and a 1050-strong
workforce of quality conscious, superbly trained personnel, Indo Asian is all set
to scale new heights of growth, excellence and worldwide acceptance.
As per the pioneers of industry Indo Asian was the first one to produce 10KA
breaking capacity MCBs and RCCBs in India, and continue to deliver high-
quality products suited to the Indian market.
In 2010 , Legrand a French company acquired the Indo Asian Switchgear
company from the parent company in order to mark its presence more in india .
The origins of legrand date back in 1860s’ in Limoges, where the group head
office is still located. It is a global specialist in electrical and digital
infrastructure and with an estimation of Euro 3.9 billion turnover.This group
designs over 1,78,000 products, , just because of the strong parent company
Indo Asian has acquired more credibility across the world over the period.
Future of Indo Asian is expected to be bright considering the present scenario of
the growth of business in different segments of functional areas involving retail
as well as industrial project products.

They are very easy to install , adjustable and compact.they come in as
adjustable or fixed , electronic variants or thermal magnetic.

 OPTIBREAK – ACBs :
High quality and High performance ACBs that are very easily
installed , removed and maintained with adjustable temperature
protection.

 HRC-FUSES :
Simple , safe , versatile and reliable. It produces number of features
that are advantageous which includes lower watt loss for longer life.
 CARETRON-MCCBs & RCCBs :
Caretron Mccbs and Rccbs are designed specifically in reference to
the evolution of the needs of protection.
2) CONTACTORS AND TIMERS :

These are the devices that can control the functioning of contactors using
some type of timing device , even it’s a simple countdown timer or
programmed clock.

 OPTICON (CONTACTORS AND OVERLOAD RELAYS) :

The contactors and overload relays consists offerings upto 630A ,with
a combination of contactors and accessories. It offers high electrical
durability and mechincal.

 DIZIET- TIME SWITCHES :

These time switches are available in digital as well as analog versions
ad offers switching steps from one minute to two hours. These are
front mounted switches which comes with extreme accuracy and
power reserve capacity.

3) DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS :
Distribution system is the final stage in the delivery of electrical power ,
basically it carries the electricity from transient systems to individual
consumers.
