Times CORRECTION
In the May 17, 2019 edition of the
Strathmore Times, in the Local wins at
nationals in Remembrance contest story
on Page 13, the story stated that it was
the first time in 45 years that a local
student has won a national award in the
Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance
competition. However, two years ago
another local student from the
Standard area, Isabelle Jensen, won
the same national award and honours
for her submission to the contest.
We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
