ERIC: Absolutely! August is the busiest month for park visitors.

WENDY: Good idea. What else should we do before going
camping?
ERIC: Well, you’d better check all your equipment before you
leave home. And be sure to bring along a first-aid kit.

MARTHA: I’m so glad we’re going to be roommates this
year, Leah.
LEAH: Me, too! I’ve been looking forward to sharing an
apartment.
MARTHA: Yeah. And I really needed to find a new roommate. I
had a lot of trouble with my last one.
LEAH: Oh, Martha, what happened?
MARTHA: Well, it was a bit like living with my mother. She was
always telling me things like “Hang up your jacket!” and
“Pick up the magazines.”
LEAH: Um, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being clean.
I like to keep my room neat.
MARTHA: Oh, no, Leah! You like to clean up all the time, too?
Well, maybe you can keep everything picked up and put away
for both of us!
LEAH: Mmm, no, I think we should pick up our own things
and wash our own dishes. Maybe we just need to have a
few rules. . .
