WEEK 1

Day 1 (1may,2019)
Orientation Programme was held on first day at Almondz Global
Securities Ltd. I interacted with the head of the RM of the company and
got to know the gist about the trading in which Almondz Global
Securities deal. On-boarding process was done.
Orientation Programme was held at CP Branch , details of which are as
follows:
9.30 am: Reporting at office
10.00 am: Welcome Note by Mr. Ajay Shankar Sharma
10.30 am: Market Outlook (Briefing about Security Market by MS. Sonali )
1.30 pm: Lunch
2.00 pm: Interaction with other employees of organisation
3:00 pm: Session with Mrs. Diksha , who deals with commodity market
In the end, a brief description was given about the work I am going to learn in
training and schedule was designed
Day ended at 6pm.

Day 2 (2may, 2019):


9.30 am: Reporting at Office.
Training under the guidance of Mr. Vijay Shanker Sharma
 Working of organisation with respect to NSE, BSE , MSEI was
explained
 Trading duration of currency , commodity and equity was
explained
 A brief description was given about the terms related to trading like
ask price and bid price, call and put option etc.

1:00pm: Meeting with the head ie. MR. Manoj Sharma was organised
 He explained me the history of equity and derivatives and how
dematerialised format came
 He recommended me NISM Security Market Foundation Module to
get more knowledge about equity and debt
Task Assigned (for 15days)
 To deal with the clients of equity
 Learn the working of terminal

Day 3 (3may,2019):
9.30 am: Reporting at Office
 Assisted Mrs. Sonali in trading
 Deal with few clients on call
 Day ends at 5.00 pm.

Day 4 (6May,2019):
9.30 am: Reporting at the branch
 Studied about security market through NISM Security
Fundamental Module and made notes on that.
 Discussed those notes with MR. Vijay Shanker Sharma.

Day 5 (7May,2019)
9.30 am: Reporting at Office
Got training from Mr. Saurabh regarding trading in equity and did some
of the trading with the help of Mr. Saurabh.

Day 6 (8May,2019)
9.30 am: Reporting at office
Continued with the training of stock market and was introduced to
derivative market. Studied about its origin and the importance as an
active trading tool.

Day 7 (9May,2019)
9:30am : Reporting at office
 Worked on the dynamics of trading in derivatives.
 Started studying financial derivatives such as forward, future and
options.
 Learnt about the basic difference between these instruments.

Day 8 (10May, 2019)


9:30am: Reporting at office
 I was given a demonstration about calling prospective clients.
 This demonstration included converting leads to clients.
 Approaching potential clients about the investment plans offered
by the company.
 This included listening to recorded calls to get an overview of the
process of handling a client.
