The final work done in the language center of the national university of
Moquegua is an effort in which different people participated, giving their opinions,
correcting, having patience and giving encouragement.

First of all, I thank God for protecting me all my way and giving me the
strength to overcome the obstacles and difficulties throughout my life.

To my mother, who with her demonstration of an exemplary mother has

taught me not to give up on anything and always persevere through her wise
advice.

INTRODUCTION

It is the smallest breed in the world and is named after the largest state in
the Mexican Republic, Chihuahua, where it is believed that it lived

Chihuahuas are elegant, energetic dogs.

These puppies do not know about their small stature. They can be "strong"
against much larger dogs, and they are very protective. They are very loyal, and
distrust the strangers who come to the house. The Chihuahua is a very nice puppy,
although some are nervous. He loves his family and some of these dogs are so
small that some people carry them in their bags. This is one of the most popular
breeds in the world. The canine federations recognize two types of race according
to the hair: the Chihuahua with short hair and the Chihuahua with long hair.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOPIC

1. PET

The Chihuahua is a very good pet, alert and attentive. Good companion,
although his size forbids him to be a protection dog. It gets along well with the
children and the Chihuahuas are a good race for the city, or for those who do not
have the time to walk their dogs very often. They feel happy in a department, as
long as they find what to play with and places to explore.
They are ideal for those who live alone, for the elderly, for people with physical
problems, and for introverts. They will give you their company for hours and hours,
leaning on your skirt or by your side in your bed, and treat you like a king. Nobody
who has a chihuahua at home can feel alone, ever.
Chihuahuas are a good race for the city, or for those who do not have the time to
walk their dogs very often. They feel happy in a department, as long as they find
what to play with and places to explore.

2. PERSONALITY

The bold and confident Chihuahua is often described as a terrier. His alert
nature make him an excellent watchdog. Chihuahuas are usually related to one
person, they are a bit reserved at the beginning. Chihuahuas can be very sensitive.
Like all dogs, Chihuahuas need early socialization and exposure to many people,
images, sounds and experiences when they are young.

3. POSITIVE QUALITIES:

• Does not require a lot of exercise.

• Very healthy.

• Hair requires little maintenance.

• Excellent travel companion.

4. NEGATIVE QUALITIES:

• Requires patience when training.

• They are very delicate.

5. SIZE

The typical Chihuahua weighs 3 to 6 pounds. There are chihuahuas that are
smaller, but they are very delicate.

6. FEEDING

Recommended daily amount: high quality dry foods per day. The amount of food
your adult dog eats depends on its size, age, metabolism and activity level.
Also like all dogs, Chihuahuas like prizes. But be careful what you give him. Use
prizes in very small quantities, such as cheese or very small pieces of chicken.
However, make sure you do not exaggerate with the prizes, since being overweight
is a health hazard for all dogs.

• The Kennel Club: KC (United Kingdom). In the Toy Dogs.

• Federation Cynologique Internationale: (Belgium, with affiliated clubs in the rest

of the world).

8. LITTER:

Usually the litter is three to four puppies.

9. LONGEVITY:

Being the smallest of all dogs is expected to enjoy a long life, and so it is. With
proper care, the Chihuahua achieves sixteen to eighteen years.

relacionados entre sí, en su mayor parte originarios de las Islas Británicas.

Reino Unido. Su objetivo principal es el mejoramiento de todo lo relacionado con
el mundo del perro.

club que gestiona una de las mayores bases de datos sobre razas caninas en el
mundo.

CONCLUSIONS

 The CHIHUAHUA is a small dog breed very popular for its small size. In
addition to being an adorable pet it is an intelligent, restless and curious
companion who will offer all his love to those who take care of him.

 CHIHUAHUAS are a good race for the city, or for those who do not have
the time to walk their dogs very often. They feel happy in a department, as
long as they find what to play with and places to explore, also the
Chihuahuas are very sensitive because they need a balanced meal for a
healthy life.
