Pisgah State Park Steering Committee:

First-ofall, both of us want to thank you for your wonderful work in creating the draft
plan for Pisgah. There has been a great deal of work by the Technical Team as well as
the Steering Committee.

During the recent comment period on the draft plan, over 200 emails and letters were
received. The comments were thoughtful and covered a wide variety of interest and
concerns.

We would like the Steering Committee to meet one more time to review the comments
and discuss DRED's changes as a result of the comments suggested to the draft plan.
Ken Desmarais will contact you to set up a convenient time.

Recognizing that a lot of time and effort has been put into this project we don't want to
leave the completion open ended. It is our intent to make a final determination no later
then December 15,2010.
