Example

On a Monday morning English class, while Mr. Thompson was monitoring his
students' progress on a writing exercise, he noticed that Kyle, instead of just
focusing on writing sentences with vocabulary related to Unit 4, the student
also used vocabulary, grammatical structures, and conjunctions seen in
previous units.

That event made Mr. Thompson think that Kyle was indeed learning.

Example
Checking the 1rst unit test regarding the verb “To Be” of your
class, you noticed that Abril scored 45/100 in it.
You know she struggles with written evaluations. However,
she uses the topics seen through all the 1rst unit and prior to
the test, she wrote a letter utilizing the verb “To Be” in a
correct manner.

The criteria tells you that she needs to be able to use the verb
“To Be” in written, oral form.

As the teacher, you know that she es competent utilizing the

verb “To Be” regardless of the test result.
