MCHS holds First Parents and Teachers

Conference for School Year 2018-2019


The Gen. PTA is one of the associations in the school that plays a vital part in
providing the children a conducive and safe environment for them to participate actively
in teaching-learning activities and enjoy their stay in school premises until the end of the
school year.

In line with the yearly activity of the department in conducting a general PTA
meeting to have a list of officers who will serve as leaders, MARIA CLARA HIGH
SCHOOL held an assembly last June 22, 2018 at 5:00 on the afternoon session.

The said meeting was hosted by Ms. Krizle Liwalas. It was said that the meeting
served as an orientation and at the same time for the parents to meet our new principal.

Our new principal, Mr. Noel Quibuyen was introduced to the community of Maria
Clara. He was on the other hand, warm welcomed by the parents, community leaders
and students. He spoke in front of the parents with dignity and humbleness. He also
asked the help and support from the parents for the benefit of our students and our
school. He emphasized that we should work hand in hand to achieve our school’s
objectives and goals.

“Walang maiiwang bata sa Caloocan” this is one of the most important message
impart by Mr. Quibuyen. He also discussed the class room condition of the school and
impart that without cooperation of parents the effort will be useless.

Also, Random drug testing was introduced by Mrs. Esperanza Bon. Selective
students, teachers, and school staff will undergo drug test under the order of
Department of Education.
Water sanitation and hygiene was also discussed by Mrs. Jocelyn Alala to help
the school in keeping Clarians a healthy individual.

Our school disaster and risk reduction management (SDRRM) chairman, Mrs.
Raquel Bautista, also orient the parents on the emergency plan and the strategic
location of students if earthquake or other disaster occurs.

For the property of our dear school it is also important to always know and
remember the guidelines as education stakeholders as Mr. Tayag share to our dear
parents.

Mr. Marlon Ferriol also articulates the policy and regulation of school. Parents are
our partners in molding our students. He also reminds our dear parents to always show
high level of respect in communicating to teachers.

The program was ended by artistic presentation showcasing the talents of our
students through dancing of MCHS Dance Troupe lead by Mr. Rogelio Castro.

After an hour of the event, a new set of GPTA officers was elected and these
newly elected officers are willing to give their 100% support and cooperation for the
betterment of the school and in promoting projects and activities that would bring into
reality the vision and mission of school that is to develop a holistic individual and to
make MARIA CLARA HIGH SCHOOL a child-friendly and safe institution to study.
