Repeat these two rows 8 times (16 rows in total).
To form left hand panel with diamond facing in
the opposite direction, read the rows from end to
beginning and work the reverse twist for moved
stitches, reading C1f for C1b and C1b for C1f; then
work 20 sts in st st for the palm, e.g.
Row 1: P1, [K1, P1] 3 times, KB1, [P1, KB1] 5 times;
K20.
Work further 8 rows in 1 x 1 twisted rib.
Cast off in rib, leaving end of yarn long enough to
stitch together the finger end rib.
To m A K e U P
Fold in half with right sides facing. Sew the side
edges together, from the cast off edge to the top of
the thumb opening (about 4cm) and from the cast on
edge upwards, leaving a 5cm hole for the thumb. Sew
in the loose ends.
