Standard I: ​Visionary Leadership

Goal: Develop my leadership skills of school improvement process & analysis of data
Activity:(Leadership)
I co-chair the character education team /lead team responsible for developing,
implementing & evaluating our school’s SMART goal.
Timeline: Sept. 2017 - June 2020

Goal: Monitoring the new SMART goal (Character Ed/Math)

Analyzing data to monitor growth with our goals

Support Needed: help from new administrator to guide conversations and data

Goal: Develop countywide JEPL leadership skills

Working with other county JEPL leaders to organize meeting days, facilitate activities
that will promote teacher lab experiences and create lab-on-lab experiences

Goal: Planning for team building activities - to help build new culture with 10 new staff
members in the building

Goal: Coordinate our services for students and help staff making instructional decisions
regarding struggling students

Facilitating, coordinating, determining instructional team managers for SAT (Student
Assistance Team)
Timeline: 2017 - 18 school year and 2018-19 school year
Support Needed: coordination with special education team to give the best support to
students
Goal: Develop my leadership skills while coordinating the resources needed for
Bingham Farms Title 1 program
Activity: (Leadership)
Coordinating classroom support for Title 1 math instruction from parapro, make
decisions regarding baseline assessments, progress monitoring, technology, and
communication with parents and staff
Timeline: 2017-2019
Support Needed: assistance from administrator for budget restrictions
Goal: Develop my management skills when acting as administrator

Stepping in to take care of discipline or building management issues while administrator
is out of the building
Timeline: when needed 2017-18 and 2018-19 school year

Each month, our instructional team decides what instructional strategy we will focus on

Goal: Organization of Data, Resources, and Plans to Complete Requirements for


Reading Law

Analyzing data, creating, monitoring, IRIP plans

Support Needed – updating information from MDE, requirements from Teaching and
Learning Department

Goal: Share information about new reading law and math instructional changes with
parent community

Attend all PTA meetings throughout the year
Give Instructional presentations for math and reading

Standard V: ​Ethics, Integrity, Fairness, & Practice

Goal: Act as Title 1 Coordinator for building


Activity: (Leadership)
Meetings with support staff (math and reading support) regarding resources, progress
monitoring and expectations
Timeline: Oct. 2017-May 2018
Support Needed: support from Title 1 District Coordinator to work through budget
requirements and program evaluation/documentation

Informational meetings with parents to explain source of resources and programs
through a Targeted Title 1 building and meeting with other Title 1 coordinators
Timeline: 2 Fall meetings and 2 Spring meetings

Goal: Becoming a Board Member on Learning Forward Board MI (update 5/20/19 - now
part of the Executive Board for Learning Forward MI)
Activity: (Participating) Attending meetings / making decisions about professional
learning goals / developing a prototype with a team of state colleagues
Timeline: August 2018-present
Support Needed: Learning from colleagues in other districts or ISDs in MI

Standard VI: ​Student Success by Understanding, Responding to, & Advocating for
Student Learning

Goal: Coordinator for Title 1 BBC Program


Activity: (Leadership)
Coordinate Title staff for before school classes (reading and math), organize and gather
the benchmark and progress monitoring data for all BBC students. Communication
with parents.
Timeline: Oct. 2017- May 2019
Support Needed: Adminstrator help with Title budget (resources and staff payroll)

Standard VII:​ Substantial and Sustained Educational Leadership Internship Experience

Goal: (something that I am quite passionate about) Hoping to chair a committee to help
make district decisions regarding new teacher induction program and mentorship
program. Also increasing opportunities for job-embedded professional learning.
Activity: Asked to help plan the New Teacher Induction Program August 2019
Asked to be part of the planning committee for New Mentorship Program
Timeline: March 2019-June 2020
Support Needed: Working with HR Manager to plan week in August for new teachers,
working with HR Assistant Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, and Professional
Learning Curriculum Coordinator to work on Mentorship Training for mentors and
coordinator selected of mentors for 2019-2020 school year.
