ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY ACTION TEAM / RESPONSE

EMERGENCY TEAM OF BARANGAY SAMPALOC, TALAVERA, NUEVA
ECIJA

WHEREAS , Barangay SAMPALOC is a strategic partnership of barangays and faith based

organizations and the Deapartment of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in monitoring
government programs and projects and in insuring the practice of transparency and good governance
in every barangay nationwide.

WHEREAS ,the implementation of Barangay SAMPALOC is aimed at encouraging and facilitating

citizen’s active participation in governance in the barangay along the areas of Peace and Order,
Disaster risk Reduction, Social Protection, Emplyment and Livelihood, Leadership Formation,
Bottom Up Budgeting (BUB) Projects, among others.

WHEREAS ,to operationalize Barangay SAMPALOC at local levels, organizations of Barangay

Action Team / Response Emergency Team is necessary.

NOW THEREFORE, I HON. NERITO S. SANTOS JR. , Punong barangay of Barangay Sampaloc,
Talavera, Nueva Ecija by virtue of the powers vested in me by the law, hereby promulgate the
following:

Section 1 Barangay Action Team (BAT) / Barangay Response Emergency Team (BRET)

Composition

. The Barangay Action Team / Barangay Response Emergency Team of Barangay Barangay
Sampaloc, Talavera, Nueva Ecija is hereby organized with the following composition:

Functions of the Barangay Action Team (BAT) / Barangay Response Emergency Team (BRET)

shall perform the following functions:

1. Identify needs, issues and concerns in the barangay.

2. Plan and implement collaborative undertakings
3. Monitor and evaluate projects implemented in the barangay; and
4. Make reports.

Section 3. Effectivity. This executive Order shall take effect immediately.
