 Worked on the Progressive Care Unit 05/08 – 04/15; Orthopaedic Unit 11/12 - Present
 Instrumental in leading the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as it transitioned from an outpatient unit to
an inpatient unit, then from a telemetry unit to a progressive care unit.
 Developed training programs and lectures for staff on a variety of topics including ECG monitoring,
chest pain treatment, peripheral vascular procedures, interventions, and complications, carotid artery
disease and stenting, trauma, orthopaedic procedures, pain, and domestic abuse.
 Organized new employee orientations and staff crossing training orientations to the ICU.
 Maintained and expanded staff competency through yearly and in-time training.
 Collaborated with other educators to revamp and improve general nursing orientation.

 Involved in the EPIC optimization committee: Collaborated with other hospitals and staff to develop
more nursing relevant care plans and implement them in EPIC; developed additional education
templates; provided input into order set functionality and implementation.
 Organized the education and supply distribution for the hospitals change-over to new IV pumps,
syringe pumps, PCA pumps, etCO2 monitors, and the peripheral supplies needed for these pieces of
equipment.
