oK, I had a HELL trying to install this program with the original install
instructions
so here are some more detailed ones. I suggest you read it and follow each step
carefully
so you don't have to waste two days troubleshooting..

|||DETAILED INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS|||

|||INSTALLING THE PROGRAM|||

---------------------------------------------------------------

1. Burn the .ISO file to a CD-rom or mount using Ultra ISO.

2. Start the setup.exe from the root directory. >>> (Internet explorer opens)
3. Test for minimum requirements. >>> (You have to have Microsoft 1.1 and 2.0 .NET
framework
installed and running on your computer)
(a) Check if the service is running in the ControlPanel >> Administrative Tools
>> Services.
If not? START IT!
4. Start installation of "AccuMark TM" and install everything.

|||INSTALLING THE EMULATOR AND LICENCE|||

---------------------------------------------------------------

1. copy a870.sentinel to windows\system32 folder. >>> (I also copied

SentinelFilter.sys when I
was out of ideas don't know if it affects)
2. run Emulator Utility and then press install button and close the utility. >>>
(don't worry if
you don't see anything happening)
3. run wechoid.exe, selector must be 1e or 1c

4. then run LicGen and use selector and code from wechoid.exe without "0x", it will
make a license for that pc
(a)!!! You have to use CMD.EXE to run the LicGen!!!
(b) go to the START menu select Run.. write "cmd.exe" in the dialog and press
enter, then goto
the folder where the LicGen is
 (c) Correct syntax when running the Licgen should be: "LICGEN XX ?????
WORKING.LIC" Where XX is the selector
(1e or 1c) and ????? is the code.
NOW THAT WILL CREATE A LICENCE FOR THAT PC!!
(d) Copy the working.lic to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Gerber Technology\GT
License Manager\ folder, then run
installLic.exe and apply
the new licence.
(Note) The program might still produce an ***ERROR message. I got two different
kinds: First one was:
***ERROR - Licence file not locked to this key - ***ERROR - Original Licence
restored. If you get this, then
goto Troubleshooting.
The second one I got was only "***ERROR - Licence file not locked to this
key" If you just get this one and
the program accepts the licence.
Try starting up Gerber LaunchPAD
if the colour has changed to brown it will be working! Congratulations - now
design away my friend!

|||TROUBLESHOOTING|||
---------------------------------------------------------------

1. Are you using the right selector and code, run wechoid.exe, use the codes
without "0x"

2. Do you have Microsoft .NET framework installed and running?

Check if the service is running in the ControlPanel >> Administrative Tools
>> Services. If not? START IT!

3. Do you have the correct sentinel system drivers installed? (Check Add/remove
programs from Control Panel)
Should be >>> Sentilel System Driver 5.42.0 (32bit) if you need to reinstall
Emulator must first be uninstalled.

4. Try to go through the whole installation process again. First Emulator must
be uninstalled, then uninstall the program.
Delete the files from
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Gerber Technology\ and go through the whole
installation process again.
