Most students understand the concept of
half past, quarter past and o’clock. Some
are starting to understand what it means to
say ‘quarter to’ the next hour.
Now to focus on minutes TO the next hour.
They don’t seem to understand the
relevance or reality of a clock and cannot
make sense of numbers on the clock
