Dear RHM Friends,
Greetings once again in the
Precious Name of JESUS.
A little late this month with
the newsletter. Just returned
from a trip to another part of
India yesterday. As shared on
the backside of this newslet-
ter, this is a busy season of
trying to find more widows/
elderly who are in need. Above: HOPE Manna Program elderly after receiving new

Quite a challenge, trying to
find the “most poor” among the poor. Trusting for His guidance.
Please look at the photos & captions of this newsletter, as there are important prayer re-
quests there. In the area where we have been involved for several years with believers who
have suffered for their faith (backside, top photos), there are 2 big needs: first, helping them
finish construction of a new girls home, and a compound wall for the 11 girls’ protection
(maybe $10,000 or so total). The 2nd need is giving ANY amount of financial assistance for
11 or 12 pastors who have lost their sponsors’ support for 2019. Though I don’t know them
intimately, in my observation they seem to be humble men, trying to serve the Lord with all
their heart. RHM is financially strapped at this time, not having extra funds to support any
new works. The widows/elderly ministry is doing well, but it is totally run with designated
funds. We cannot dip into those funds to provide assistance for others. As the Lord provides,
we would like to give some periodic financial blessing to these pastors. Pray for that.
Please pray for a couple of brothers from America, Russel and Mark, who are both sched-
uled to land at HOPE on February 1st. Russel plans to spend most of his time being a bless-
ing to HOPE, while Mark will be engaged with the widows’ ministry. Bless you!

 Left: Thankful that we had the opportunity to visit another
area of India where we are part of a girls home, as well as
being a channel of support for families whose husbands/
fathers are unjustly in prison (now for 10 years). At left is
our ministry friend, Brother Wesley (4th from left), with 6
of the 11 girls in the girls home, the couple who oversee them at right, and the rest all pastors. Please pray for these
pastors, whom we’ve had the blessing of assisting for at least the last 3 years. Their sponsorship was discontinued for
2019, a tough blow for their families and ministries. Right: The girls home has been operating from a rental home for
the last few months, but that house has been sold and the new owner is anxious for them to leave. They have been con-
structing a new girls home (left), adjoining the white building, which is one large room and a smaller storage room, used
for pastors/prayer meetings. They’re also hoping to build a kitchen and bathrooms to the right. Funds are very low.

Above: The Father has blessed the widows/elderly ministry with a sizeable increase for 2019. Praise His Name! Along
with that increase comes the TOUGH task of trying to find the most needy widows or elderly within the churches which
are scattered throughout this area of India. People will say anything when it comes to receiving benefits, so pray for us,
that the One who knows how many hairs are on our head (Luke 12:7) will grant us His wisdom & Heart in choosing
these new members. Through this ministry they receive monthly assistance, medical help and some house repairs. At
left are Sheshagiri and his wife, Anantha Lakshmi. They are part of Brother Wesley’s church, very poor and having no
children. On the right is Annamma, living in this hut on her son’s property. One of her 3 daughters died; the other 2 live
far away and are not helping. Her son is a cycle rickshaw puller, not a well-paying job, and has a wife and 2 kids of his
own. He was listening to her every word, so she couldn’t share freely about her problems. Read Psalms 72:12-14.
Two more precious elderly women are no longer suffering in this
world: Left is Kotamma (holding Moses), and at right is Vimalam-
ma, both of them part of the HOPE Manna Program. Kotamma lived
in the HOPE girls home for several years, and was the nearest thing
to a mother that Moses has ever had (mother died, father unknown).
She was very precious to all in HOPE. Vimalamma was part of HMP
many years, but hasn’t been able to come for meals/prayers for a long
time. Sweet women! “...and He will wipe away every tear from their
eyes...no more death...sorrow, crying or pain…” Revelation 21:4
