Who’s to blame?
In Romeo and Juliet the whole tragedy of the piece be blamed on both Romeo and Juliet

as a pair. When they first met and fell in love they soon after found out that with their feuding

families they couldn't be together, but they disregarded this fact and moved to get married as

soon as possible. This shows how even with knowing things could only turn out bad the two

star-struck lovers recklessly found someone to secretly marry them so they could follow their

own hearts. Still knowing they would be going against their own families they decided they must

be together. At another point in the play Juliet decides to fake her death in order to bring her

Romeo back to her for them to run off together. This idea set off even more problems as the

letter explaining her “death” never made it to Romeo. When he heard of her death he came to

see her one last time before taking his own life out of sadness for his love Juliet, and when she

woke up to find him dead she herself claims her own life to be with him. Overall this shows that

if Romeo and Juliet had just handled their relationship more maturely then none of this would

have happened,or if they had followed their parents rules and not been together in the first place

then none of this tragedy would have happened.
