PhD Position

as of now. It is remunerated at the salary level TV-L 13 and calls for 100%
of standard work hours per week. The position is situated within the DFG
(German Research Association) project ME 4279/1-2 and is a fixed-term
position based upon Section 2 of the academic fixed-term labor contract act
(Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetzes — WissZeitVG) for 3 years in which the
candidate is supposed to earn his doctorate.

Tasks The position is for candidates which aim to pursue a doctorate


in high-class research in the areas of logic, parametrised and enumeration
complexity.

Requirements Applicants have an excellent university degree (MSc or


equivalent) in the areas of computer science or mathematics. Furthermore,
he possesses good knowledge in the areas of theoretical computer science.
The University aims to increase the number of women in research and
