The Farm & Home unit, Directorate General, All lndia Radio has been conducting 'lmpact
Assessment & Capacity Building Workshops' exclusively for the Kisanvani programme producors
of
all the idenlified g6 Kisanvani broadcasting AIR statlons in collaboration with the Department of
Agriculture, coop€ration & Farmers welfar€, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers welfare,
Government of lndia, at different agro climatic zones of the country.
Besides the representation of officials from the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers
Welfare
and DG: AlR, subject matter/ industry experts, agriculture scientists, agro meteorologists, State
agriculture departmenVdistrict administration officials, NIC scientists, l.T. Experts, progressive
Farmers
etc. have been participating at these workshops.
The third of these four series workshops, for the 26 Programme Officers belonging
to the
Northdrn states of J&K, Himachal pradesh, punjab, Haryana, uttarakhand,
U.p Rajasthan & Delhi, is
being organized by AlR, Dharamshala, Jrom 3d to Sth July, 2019 at chaudhury

Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vlshwavidyalaya , palampur, Himachal pradesh.

the workshop
at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. Programme officers representing concerned AIR stations are
directed to report at the workshop venue by g:30 am on 03.07.201g (and
book their return journey
only after 6 pm on 05.07.2019) -

Accommodation for the participants are
being arranged at the CSKHP campus, for
interested participants, on payment basis.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROGRAMME PRODUCERS ATTENDING THE KISANVANI WORKSHOP FROM

All the Kisanvani programme producers attending the workshop mentioned at serial numbers (5) to
( 30) are requested to come well prepared along with the following:

(X)CD/Pendrive (MP3 Format) recording of 30 minutes of their best Kisanvani programme

complete with signature tune, credits to the sponsors and scheduled Kisanvani spots.
(2)CD/Pendrive, having recordings of at least 4-5 programmes in different formats including
phone-in, of their respective Kisanvani programmes with signature tune in the opening and
closing.
(3lAn illustrative text report of the station's Kisanvani broadcast activities, achievements,
success stories, problems, etc.
(4)List of their empanelled casual Kisanvani Prorgamme presenters containing details of their
names, addresses, age, educational qualifications and broadcast experiences etc.
(5)A detailed report on the Radio Kisan Diwas observed/plans for the same.
(6)A copy of the updated expenditure statement of the station and written request for funds, if
actually required, with detailed justification.
