The grease pump is fitted directly to the mixer and is equipped with 4 pump elements and integrated relief
valves.

The grease pump has its own control system, which is accommodated on the mixer close to the grease
pump. The control systems consists of a push button to start the pump, a timer for setting the pump running
time and a signal lamp indicating when grease container is "empty".

According to the operating instructions, the pump is started every 8 working hours or each time after the
mixer has been cleaned to re-lubricate the mixing shaft seal. This should be effected while the mixer is
running to achieve a better distribution of the grease in the mixing shaft seal.

When the pump is running for approx. 12 minutes approx. 80 cm³ of grease are delivered to each lubricating
point.

By means of the time relay inside the control system the running time can be adjusted to the ambient
conditions and the degree of wear of dust cover and wearing ring.

The functionality of the lubrication system can also be achieved via the plant control system. In that case a
push button to start the pump and a grease container "empty" signal must be attached to the mixer.

The electric motor of the GMA-C- pump must be star connected (Y). See wiring diagram.

Please observe: Connection to be performed by a skilled electrician in compliance with DIN VDE 1000-10.
