The need of the hour is to achieve a 360-degree
technical excellence. The All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE) has taken steps in this direction and
has revised the curriculum for the undergraduate
programme. Students will now have to study Big Data
Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and
Internet Of Things and undergo mandatory induction
program and internships starting from academic year
2018-19.
With above view in mind, SAP is launching i360
Program. i360 Program brings to you Industry 4.0
innovation labs ensuring that students find themselves
at the top of the skills curve of IoT, Machine learning,
AI, Analytics, and Big Data. SAP's customers and
partners have joined us in bringing real industry
projects for students to propel young India to take a
leadership position in innovation.
These skills become a critical success factors for the
future Technology Leaders, as they step into the era of
Smart Cities and Industry 4.0. SAP is working with
more than 300 universities today through our
University alliance program providing them the skills
required for the digital future.

I congratulate AICTE for developing a model curriculum with the help of academic and
industry experts for various disciplines of Undergraduate Degree courses in Engineering &
Technology which will be available for Universities and Institutions. This adoption will be
advantageous for the students to enhance their skills and employability.
