Job Experience: -
At present I am working in Hindalco industries ltd (birla copper unit) bharuch.
As Maintenance incharge of RMH area in Smelter plant from Nov 2008 to till
date.
As Maintenance Engineer my job responsibility is below.
1) To ensure maximum availability of equipments and improve maintenance
practices.
2) Doing conditional and preventive, Breakdown maintenance.
3) Use resources/manpower in such a way that one can finish the job once in for all
and there is no need of repeating the same activity in a short while.
4) To efficiently utilize manpower, machinery and allocation of resources so as to
reduce maintenance cost.
5) Make history record of all critical equip & job list.
6) Prepare budget for maintenance spares and indenting items as per yearly
consumption. Make monthly PM schedule of all critical equipment and aware to top
Management about them.

Handle Maintenance of:

1) Raw material conveying & handling area, chain coveyor, Belt Feeder,
Reclaimer, Bucket elevator, Jaw Crusher, Material screening.
2) Smelter Furnace. Converting furnace, Slag furnace, Anode furnace
Area each furnace has 400 tones capacity.

3) Anode casting area, Hydraulic power pack system of caster area.


4) Feeding system. Hydraulic systems of slag furnace and feeding
system.

 Past Job: - WELSPUN GUJARAT STAHL ROHREN LTD.ANJAR as Production


& Operation Shift incharge in Finishining line and plate Mill area after completed
project from jan 2008 to Nov 2008.
As Production & Operation Shift Incharge my job responsibility is below: -

1) Responsibility for overall and target production of finishining line.


2) Communicating with Mill incharge regarding actual plate dimention, flateness, and
camber of plates and also inform/feedback for overall width and thickness.
3) Ensuring Dimensional tolerance of product as per PPC schedule and QC standards.
4) Shift manpower adjustment.
5) Daily basis work for documentation process like On line SAP entry, daily Work
production report, Manpower report, safety formet, Tool consumption report, Delay
report, Rejection report, Machine Utilization report Fill up and follow up with
associated engineer.
6) Every week/periodically meet with HOD’S discuss about production, Regular and
some undefined delays, suggestion for condition/preventive /periodic maintenance.
7) Responsibility to production Shift Report daily to HOD’S.

To handle cooling bed area ,shear machines ,melling machines ,devide shear,plate
yard area .
As Project Engineer in WELSPUN GUJARAT STAHL ROHREN LTD.ANJAR
from Aug 2005 to dec 2007
It is a 4 Hi hot rolling stackle mill. Total project cost is 2500 crore .project about
4500 mm width hot plate rolling and 5mm strip rolling. Plate mill project completed
and start to production Daily 1500 tones.

 During Project my Job responsibility of Drawing CKG.which is supplied by world’s


best hot rolling mill designer VAI-U.K, planning and procurements as per action plan
to complete project work.

 Making BOM & indent and follow up of required items as per standard plan.

Erection and commissioning & Maintenance of mill stand and equipment like
Roller table Assy, Screw down screw system. Roll changing system, over
driven vertical Edger assy etc.

Discuss with other department with related activities.

Making manpower activity chart as per project schedule.

Use techniques like CPM, PERT, Inventory control Etc for timely evaluate project
running activities, future plans.

I also got responsibility of material ordering, follow up, co-ordination ,with vendors
and sub vendors. For plate mill project.

Achievements

Company gave me responsibility and I have completed total of 1200 TON


CASTINGS and FABRICATION jobs of hot rolling mill parts like vertical edger assy
parts, roller table frame, forged rolls crane parts etc outside location instead of
WELSPUN GUJARAT LTD.

During 5 months of time to complete 3 Hi rolling Mill project. Starts production of


750mm width hot rolled plate up to 50 mm thickness.
