THE DEVELOPMENT OF PGMIT INSTITUTION

President Garcia Memorial Institute of Technology known for its acronym PGMIT . It is a
private school establish in 1954 and founded by Mr. and Mrs. LUZTRELLANO GARCIA.
PGMIT is located in Poblacion Dinas Zamboanga Del Sur, formerly Dinas High School. The
Garcia’s teachers in PGMIT are working hard to achieve more improvement in school. Even
though there father passed away, they are helping each other to maintain the quality teaching of
this institution. Now the students, parents, alumni and staffs see the improvements of these
private school

The school buildings before was made of wood but now most of the buildings are made of
cements and a very strong materials to make quality classrooms. The sorroundings of this school
is very adorable because of its cleanliness. We, as a students of PGMIT admire the teachers
specially the Garcia teachers because they discipline the students very well. They have also fear
to God.

The vision of this institution says “PGMIT as a private institution dreams of a united community
of peaceful stakeholders bind by common aspiration to produce a god loving, ecologically
friendly peace and development advocate young learners who passionately care and love the
Philippines. And whose values and competencies enable them to become a wholehearted and
potential individual who are the hope of the country their families and community they live in”. I
hope that the improvements of this institution will continue, to achieve the quality education for
everybody.
