Particular Conditions of the Contract

Rates of the individual items are firm and shall not be subjected to any kind of escalation &

variation and will be paid as per the BoQ item rates and actual measurements.
Power/Electricity required for carrying out works which includes area lighting, running of
2
machinery, tools & tools etc. will be provided by Sub - Contractor.
3 Drinking water and water for Construction Purpose shall be arranged by the Sub-Contractor.
Labour Accomodation and storage arrangement and security of the same shall be arranged by the
4 Sub-contractor however limited space for the same can be provided by L&T subject to the
availability of space at site location.
5 All PPE for workers and staffs of sub-contractor for the job shall be provided by sub-contractor.
All type of scaffolding, ladder, cranes and other lifting tools and tackles etc. to complete work shall
6
be in sub-contractor's scope
7 Testing and inspection (if any) required for the job shall be in Sub-Contractor's scope
As-built drawings (if required) shall be prepared and submitted by the sub-contractor for the
8
approval of L&T.
9 Preparation of inventory for the project shall be in sub-contractor's scope
Inspection & Testing Plan and methodlogy for each activity shall be submitted by the sub-contractor
10
and shall submit the same to EIC for his approval before starting of any activity.
RFI will be raised and shared for every activity by the sub-contractor before 24 hours and get

approved by EIC before starting of any activity.
PBG 5% of Contract Value to be submitted by sub-contractor with validation of 15 months from the
12
date of handing over of complete work required for the functiong of the station buildings

5% Mobilisation Advance may be provided if requested by sub contrcator upon submission of BG

which shall remain valid till the recovery of full Mobilsation Advance.
14 Defect Liability Period is 12 months from handover of complete scope
LD is applicable 0.25% per week on failure to achieve the pre-decided milestones subject to 5 % of
15
the sub contract value.
16 Retention Money from each RA Bill shall be 5% of RA Bill value.
Deletion and inclusion of any scope / quantity shall be at the sole discretion of L&T as per the
17
requirement of the project and for the completion of the systems.
Liaisoning with any govenmment official for statutory approval shall be in sub-contractor's scope
18
and the required fees etc. shall be borne by the sub-contractor.
All original QA & QC documents including all test certificates are to be maintained by the sub-
19 contractor and shall be handed over to L&T after completion of works. During the execution of the
project photo copy of the same shall be submitted with all protocols to L&T on regular basis.
 Labor PF compliance, labor register, Overtime register, labor pay sheet shall be maintained by sub-
20 contractor. All the documents as mentioed above shall be produced with each RA invoice by the sub-
contractor in each month.
21 All required statutory compliances are in sub-contractor's scope.
Sub-contractor to make a tie up with nearest hospital for emergency medical treatment of it's
22
workers and shall keep a vehicle for emergency purpose
Sufficient strength of workers, Supervisors, Engineers, Site Engineers, Planning Engineer, Interface
23 Engineer, Safety engineer shall be made available in all shifts and in sub-contractor's scope. The site
shall be functioning 24 x 7.
24 No work will be executed without Supervision from sub-contractor's end.
25 RA payment shall be paid within 30 days of certification by EIC.
Planning and Co-ordination in accordance with the other interfacing agencies and thereby

maintaining the original schedule of works is in the scope of the sub-contractor
All site meetings and site interfaces shall be attended by site in charge of the sub contractor on
daily basis before the start of the work. Sub-contractor shall remain responsible to clear the
27
interfaces along with other agencies
during the entire duration of the contract.

This is a tentative list of Conditions of Contract. Addition / deletion to the same may occur at later stage

Sub-contractor's are requested to consider necessary contingencies accordingly.
