1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 PURPOSE
The document deals with the Structural analysis and design of the SSF skid, which includes the
following:
1.2 METHODOLOGY
The base frame of the skid structure is connected from 4 lifting Lugs. The spreader beam is
connected to the lifting hook. The location of the hook is adjusted to match with the eccentricity of
the load system.
The coordinate system used in the STAAD model was chosen as follows:

2.5 BASIC LOADS
The self-weight of the entire structural frame is considered in STAAD with the SELFWEIGHT
command.
The equipment weights considered as per the drawing - 50516-VE-XX-00-DR-M-XX02

2.8 UTILISATION RATIO
The applied computer program is STAAD.Pro V8i, with BS5950-2000 for the analysis of
the members in the skid structure.

3 CONCLUSION
Concluding the analysis and design of the skid structure, we can state that:
Section profiles provided for the skid structure satisfies the stress ratio limits.
Utilization ratio satisfied and found within the limits.
The actual stress in lifting Pad eye is within allowable limit
If any changes in inputs, (Pipe supports, Equipment GA) this report will be updated,
Please increase the pad eye hole diameter from 20mm to 22mm when using 19mm pin
dia. Shackle to avoid the collision between shackle and pad eye.
