I am currently most interested in using primary document/data analysis as my data collection tool

because my topic is in the field of clinical medicine, so I need actual numbers, and the other data
collection methods are not feasible for my topic.

If I choose primary analysis of previously recorded data or a collection of documents, I would

use data/documents I have found, including: ​Pregnancy-related cardiovascular deaths in
California: beyond peripartum cardiomyopathy​, ​Safely delivered: a national survey of women’s
experience of maternity care 2014​, ​Annual Report to the North Carolina Medical Society
October 2018,​ and ​Maryland Maternal Mortality Review 2017 Annual Report

I will evaluate these documents based on the maternal mortality initiatives that they discuss and
have implemented and their maternal mortality data. Some documents have some components
and others have both.
