University of Rajasthan (popularly known as Rajasthan University) conducts URAT PG (University of Rajasthan Admission T est
for Postgraduate Courses) to provide admission to candidates in postgraduate courses offered by it in the following
streams:

Rajasthan University admission process through URAT PG exam requires candidates to choose a subject (maximum five) for
the test, at the time of registration. Once the exam is held and URAT PG result is declared, candidates need to generate an
admission form from the official website to get a list of courses related to their particular test subject. Finally, basis the
subject(s) chosen in the test, candidates can secure admission in corresponding course on the basis of merit.

URAT PG 2019 exam dates are out. T he PG entrance test for different courses is scheduled to be conducted in June, 2019.

Eligibility
URAT PG 2019 eligibility criteria for admission in different law courses offered by the university is as mentioned below:

Psychology/ Public Administration with 48% marks in the
aggregate and with a paper relating to Labour Laws as part
PG Diploma in Labour Law

(i) MCom exam in EAFM/ Business Administration or MBA
exam with at least 48% marks in aggregate and a paper
relating to Labour Laws as part of the MCom/ MBA course

Process
Step 1: Reg ister f or URAT PG Exam
Primarily, candidates need to visit the official website of the exam and register themselves for URAT PG 2019 in the online
mode. Details that candidates need to fill in URAT PG registration form are name, father's name, date of birth, category, and
number of subjects.
Step 2: Fill URAT PG Application Form
Once registration is done, candidates need to pay URAT PG 2019 application fee in the online mode (net banking/debit
card/credit card) through ICICI payment gateway after which they would be able to fill the application form for their chosen
subject(s).

URAT PG 2019 application form needs to be filled as well as submitted in the online mode on the official website of the exam.
It may be noted that “the applicants are not required to deposit the hard copy of the online application form. However, they
are advised to keep the hard copy of the online application for their own reference,” informs the official website.

Step 3: Download URAT PG Admit Card
Next, candidates can download their URAT PG 2019 admit card from the official website of Rajasthan university as per the
prescribed date. Once downloaded, candidates need to take a printout of the admit card and fix a recent self-attested
photograph on it.
It is important that candidates carry their admit card (along with a photo ID proof) to the allotted URAT PG test centre in
order to give the PG exam.

Step 4 : Appear f or URAT PG Exam
Candidates can give URAT PG 2019 at the allotted exam centre on the prescribed date and time.
Step 5: Check URAT PG Result
Rajasthan University will declare URAT PG 2019 result on its official website once the written exam is over. Candidates can
download their result from the official website by filling either their Form Number (application number, mother’s name, date
of birth) or General Detail (name, parents’ names, date of birth).

Step 6: Generate URAT PG Admission Form
Once the result is declared, candidates need to generate an admission form for the test subject related courses from the
official website of the exam. T hereafter, candidates need to pay the requisite fee in the online mode through ICICI bank
payment gateway.
Step 7: Fill Course Application Form

On payment of the fee, candidates are redirected to fill application form for a particular course. It may be noted that courses
are available in the scope of the subject(s) for which candidates gave the test. In the form, candidates can choose a
maximum of eight courses from one or more faculties, informs the official website.
Once courses are chosen, candidates need to submit the hard copies of admission as well application forms in the
programme related department/ centre on or before the prescribed date. Along with the forms, candidates also need to
submit all educational documents as prescribed by the varsity.
Finally, admission list in the concerned department/ centre is declared basis which candidates are offered seats in their
respective courses.

Pattern
URAT PG 2019 exam pattern is such that the question paper will contain a total of 100 multiple choice questions that
candidates need to complete in two hours duration. "100 questions of the concerned subject/programme will be based on
the notified syllabus which is available on the website of the university for all under graduate subjects/ programmes," informs
the official website.
Marking scheme: One mark is awarded for each correct answer in the exam. T here is no negative marking for a wrong
answer in the exam.
It may be noted that admission in all PG courses offered at Rajasthan University are done on the basis of URAT PG exam
(70% weightage) as well as academic merit (30% weightage) of the qualifying examination. However, exception is for
courses offered under the faculty of Law.
Admission of candidates seeking admission in law courses is done basis their marks scored in URAT PG exam only.

programme of that particular subject (of session 2018-19) in the undergraduate programme of Part I, Part II, and Part III in

Syllabus
:
Rajasthan University will declare URAT PG result 2019 on its official website on June 30. All candidates can check their
URAT PG 2019 result by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the varsity.
Step 2: Click on the URAT PG 2019 tab present on the Home page.
Step 3: Click on the Result for URAT PG 2019 link.
Step 4 : Enter any of the below-mentioned details by selecting either By Form No. or By General Detail:
• Form No. – Application number, mother’s name, date of birth
• General Detail: Name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth
Step 5: Click on the Proceed button.
URAT PG result will appear on the screen.
Candidates qualifying the URAT PG exam are now eligible to secure admission in their respective courses and colleges on the
basis of merit.

Admit Card
Rajasthan University releases URAT PG admit card on its official website on the prescribed date. Candidates can download
their admit card from the official website of the varsity in three ways:
• By entering f orm number: Here, candidates need to enter their application number, mother’s name, and date of birth and
click on the Proceed button. URAT PG 2019 admit card will appear on the screen.
• By entering g eneral details: As the name suggests candidates need to enter general details such as name, father’s
name, mother’s name, and date of birth. T hereafter, candidates need to click on the Proceed button and their admit card will

appear on the screen.
• By entering mobile number: Here, candidates can enter their name as well as mobile number and click on the Proceed
button to get URAT PG admit card.
Once the admit card is downloaded, candidates need to take a printout of it and fix a recent self-attested photograph on it.
Candidates need to carry their URAT PG 2019 admit card to the allotted exam centre along with a photo ID proof. Candidates
not carrying their URAT PG 2019 admit card to the test centre might not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Answer Key
Rajasthan University releases subject-wise URAT PG answer key on its official website as per the prescribed date. Candidates
can check the answer key by clicking on the Answer Keys for URAT PG link present on the official website of the varsity.
Once downloaded, candidates can check answers for all the questions and have an estimate of the score that they can obtain
in the exam. In case of any doubt with reference to any answer or question, candidates can communicate the same to the
Office of the Convener URAT PG within two days after the publication of the key.
In case of any changes in any answer, the varsity will release a final URAT PG 2019 answer key on the official website of the
varsity. After this, URAT PG result will be released by the varsity as per the prescribed date.

Candidates can apply or URAT PG 2019 in online mode as per the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Reg ister f or URAT PG
Primarily, candidates need to register for the exam on the official website of the university. For the same, candidates need to
click on the Register for Application button and enter details such as name, father's name, date of birth, category, and
number of subjects.
Once successfully registered, candidates can proceed towards next step of URAT PG application process.
Step 2: Pay URAT PG Application Fee
Next, candidates need to pay URAT PG 2019 application fee in online mode (credit card/ debit card/ net banking) through ICICI
payment gateway.
